  2. I think that's just online - ?14.99 online, ?2 from a Post Office, free by phone and on NHSBSA site - EHIC application
  3. Apologies WOD but I was under the spell of a spelling-fit for a spell there even though I knew it could spell disaster. As Shakespeare/Shakespere/Shakespear/Shakspeare/Shackspeare/Shakspere/Shackespeare/Shackspere/Shackespere/Shaxspere/ Shexpere...etc. himself and other Elizabethans took a fairly relaxed approach to spelling, and sometimes relied on phonetic spelling to get their meaning across, I, as a modern Elizabethan, take a similarly relaxed view. But the next person to say "Would of..." or "Could of..." will get shrift of the shortest kind... ...and thus risk remaining unshriven.

She didn't 'recommend' anything of the kind - just said (passionately) how she hoped there would be none on a Sunday. That's potential-customer input. Glad she brought it up because if there was folk singing on a Sunday I would avoid it too - doesn't mean I want folkies to stop having a "loverly time the day we went to Bangor..." (stop it!)

  13. No,no,no,no,no,no,no. If Sam can't sort the home form out we'll come straight back down even if we DO get promoted first time. :-S
  14. As a kid most boys had either Celtic or Rangers as a second team - but then there was some kind of disconnect - don't know whether it was the SPL or what but since then - and up to now - I haven't really followed or cared about either. I certainly don't 'get' what seems a bonkers format for a league - top six/bottom six, seedings and the subsequent possibilty of an inbalance of home and away games - and I only know this much thanks to wiki... An outsider must look at the table at the end of the season and wonder how 12 teams could play so many games against each other. Isn't it killing interest?
  15. You should know better shorty - Shaw?
  16. The new Tippler bar (ex Liquorish) has notices up that it is opening on 15th March also - could be a tiring night...
  17. I think the original quote by your friend Tallglassofgingerbeer would be fine. And don't worry about fitting in - people around here have become quite tolerant of 'gingahs' and have even stopped pointing. And if anyone tries to crowbar in a pun about crabbies don't fret - it's gingerbeer with a kick. *expects 'crabbies' will not be new forum name*
  18. Great - nice to see they are managing to ensure there is no continuity of care. I should have left this disastrous place already but - judging by local comment - the alternatives mean queueing up at 07.30 to get an appointment or hanging off the phone for hours at a time. Does anyone have any information on the GP surgery at Dulwich Hospital (E.D.Primary Care Centre)? Last time I went past it looked open and uncrowded - is there a reason? Does it have a rep (good or bad)? The doc there (Dr Sarma) has apparently been there since 2006 and was at Maxted rd before then. Anyone any experience?

  20. I think if GB (great initials for a visitor) was a 'guy' then Nette would have to have a serious word about fashion - 3" heels on men are so last decade. There are women well over 6' here - but they are usually German tourists or Comedians. A lot of ED bars let you run up a tab if you put your cc behind the bar. This is really all you need to know.
  21. Makes a kind of sense - there are a lot of players looking for clubs out there. I was quite surprised at the number of players WH have out on loan right now AND the number that have been 'let go'. In their case though surely it's a case of 'are they still able'? especially after big Sam turned El Hadj down (allbeit after the fans said NOOOO! Don't you fucking DARE!!!)
  22. Piquionne's only on loan from the Irons and won't be allowed to play on Sat. Hear ex-Iron Ilunga may be drafted in at left back though if Tommy Spurr (great name for a footballer) fails a fitness test and they can do a 'deal' (Ilunga's still a free agent having been dropped when WH brought McCartney back to Upton Park.) I thought the other two were on 'until the end of the season' deals?
  23. Now that Man C's ?400m sponsorship deal with Etihad has been declared "an improper transaction" what measures do the panel think the light blue billionaires will use to qualify under the FFP regs in the future? I have heard that a "Platinum Elite" service is available - a private box and all the trimmings but also a personalised peg in the changing room, choice of picking two subs per game and a lift home from Balotelli (home games only). Cost is ?450m/season and the first taker was a Mr. Smith.

What do you mean Doncaster are a lesser team?!?
