  1. I have had these since April 2021, and just checked today for pressing key buttons when they were inside, and also sitting in the car and trying to start the engine. Still doing the trick....if you remember to put the fob inside! https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B08QJB73XY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  2. Didn't know this actually! I think I know the one though.
  3. Yeah, I had seen that when posted. My faraday pouches work, I check them every so often, it was simply me forgetting to use it. This person seemed more intent on taking valuables lying inside cars more than the car itself.
  4. Felt I should flag this up for anyone who is in the Trossachs Road area, or beyond, that there are thieves breaking into cars using keyless tech. I had mine done in the early hours of this morning, which I have on video. A car stopping just in front and parallel to mine, silver or white, I think a ford fiesta. Then one person, walking directly up to my car, a gadget in their hand, and opening my passenger door. Sadly, I did not put my keys into the faraday pouch I use yesterday when I came home. Something I always do, but didn't this time. Faraday pouches are not expensive, you can get them on Amazon. Also, good to put spare keys into a separate one, and keep both as far away from where your car is parked as possible.
  5. Found this personal trainer who has a gym space for this.... http://www.leodolan.co.uk/face
  6. If you search for high pitched noise in forum you'll find a post I made a few years back. likely a faulty boiler!
  7. I think the one on East Dulwich Grove, Village Tandoori, is really nice. Not that I am an expert on curries, and it is only a takeaway.
  8. yes, it's been open since last week.
  9. why would apologies be needed to the previous management? EA didn't have issues with gas leaks, they just didn't maintain the equipment.
  10. It's not exactly something they have control over, as it's a gas leak outside. They have to wait for the relevant agencies to sort it before they can heat the pool.
  11. Thought I needed my eyes tested then. 😉
  12. this happened a while ago, I found a car, same street with boot open. I just shut the boot as it turned out it was a parent in a hurry and they just simply forgot!
  13. yup, I saw that on the app.
  14. No, they have the right address. 🙂
  15. EA left it in a mess and Southwark had to clear that mess up.
  16. I have no idea either, but it has happened three times now. They are one street away, then stay there for an hour plus. Then it's suddenly delivered, but there is no package. I only order stuff which will arrive on days I am in. These three times, I was in, the doorbell didn't ring, no one showed up on camera, but tracking said it was delivered to my address and handed to the resident! Sometimes things are left on doorstep as I don't get to the door fast enough, I know they are on a tight time frame, and I wouldn't like their job, but these three times, nothing had been left/delivered. I imagine just driving up a street, pausing outside a property would show up in the tracking and could look like delivered. It's not like they ask for a signature or a photo of person accepting it. Amazon refunded/replaced each item, and I did complain and suggest they looked into it, but what do they care?
  17. Not sure if aimed at me, but I know they use cars. The street I checked had no cars with visible parcels, or occupants.
  18. Sue, the street was empty, it wasn't my street, but an adjoining one which doesn't ever had many vehicles on it, as it's a school street, plus is a short/small street. There were only resident cars, and about 6 if I remember rightly. If there had been a delivery vehicle there, then my parcel would have been delivered! It wasn't. None of them were. Extra security, I have a camera, so I can see who comes to my door. There were no deliveries.
  19. I've never had issues with the official Amazon delivery drivers, but the casual ones, yes. Last month I didn't receive three different parcels. I was in, watching the tracking whilst working. Tracking changed to delivered, but no doorbell ring. Went to the door and there was nothing there. These were all weekend deliveries. Searched the immediate area, but nothing. I was too quick to get to the door for someone passing to have taken. Amazon were good, as usual, to refund/send replacements, but one seller was clearly suspicious, and I had a short battle with them. With all of those disappearing parcels, the tracking showed the driver at a standstill on a nearby street for as long as two hours. The last time, I actually walked to the road in question prior to the supposed delivery, but there were no vehicles which looked like they were delivering.
  20. ah, you didn't say that in your original message, otherwise I wouldn't have suggested. Hopefully it will be found safe and well.
  21. if you are able to, take it to the emergency medivet in Camberwell. 7 Kenbury St, London SE5 9BS 020 3816 1010 Call them to say you are coming.
  22. If you call the noise team when it is actually happening, stand outside, so they can hear it. They will have no problem in finding where it is coming from if they come out. You must keep a diary though. Other than witnessing it themselves, they need evidence.

  24. Update - I have taken them to the 24hr Medivet Hospital in Camberwell as they are either unwell, hurt or exhausted, perhaps all three. If they are yours, or you know who they belong to, please contact Medivet on 020 3816 1010
  25. I've seen this cat before in various parts of East Dulwich grove, but they're in my garden on Trossachs right now. they don't look great so wondered if anyone knows much about them.
