this evening there were no loo rolls, no fresh meat other than expensive cuts. No bread. Barely any milk, no butter, no bananas, biscuits pretty much gone. No rice, no pasta. I feel immense sadness for all those who can?t bulk buy, or who can only buy when their money comes through. What angered me was finding several packs of meat dumped on a dry foods shelf by someone who couldn?t be bothered to put them back in the chiller. No way of knowing how long they?d been there. On a normal day, that would be wasteful, on a day when there?s nothing on the shelves that?s..... I have no polite words.

An update - Definitely a boy but sadly he is not chipped. Vet says he is very healthy looking and definitely not a stray. Someone must be missing their lovely boy. I have had a lovely, friendly, affectionate cat hanging around for the last week in my garden. Sleeping in garden through the day and night. I don't think it is a stray as clearly has been fed and in good condition, but has been opportunist and taken food from my kitchen.....door open in warm weather! Friendly with children and visitors. I'm afraid I am not sure if it's a male or female. All black except for a patch of white on chest. This isn't the first time it's visited, but it is the longest. First hung around last year in October, then this year in February, March, May, June and August. All previous times it was just a visit then gone. This time it isn't leaving. I am eager to find the owner. I can send more photos via email if requested. For geographic purposes, I am on Trossachs Road, SE22. Please don't tell me it's chosen me, I had a cat for 15 years before he passed July last year, I am simply not in the position to take another on as travel regularly to care for elderly mother. I am also not ready to be 'owned' just yet either! https://imgur.com/cWNsBgb

Brown bin collection - Council starting to charge?

hopefully this will show up, but this is letter I received today. -
would like to offer another recommendation for Will Westwood. Comforting to know there?s someone local that can lessen my back pain quickly. Very professional, works with you and great with recommending helpful exercises for home. What i do appreciate very much in comparison to other osteopaths i have seen over the years, is Will doesn?t encourage further sessions beyond what?s appropriate or necessary.

so just had a listen outside and a walk around the top of road into Thornecombe and Tarbet road. It's 100% coming from either the garden or a house on Tarbet road backing on to the gardens of Trossachs. It's very loud at the bottom of my garden and to the left. Neighbours must be hearing it too so I might enquire with some!

that's interesting ianr.......I can definitely say it's not within my flat plus, as the volume goes down when I shut my window and goes up when I open it and very loud in my garden. I have to be honest and say I was glad that it can be heard on recording as I have had a few moments when I thought it was in my head! I will try the tube idea if it starts up again tonight. I have been out so not heard it....yet! I may also take a walk out if it wakes me to see if I can get a better pinpoint too.

I don't think so no, it's a very stable continuous tone. I might have to actually get outside and see if I can follow where it comes from. It is very annoying and although I am not ready to do any gardening yet, it would drive me crazy if I was. I usually have my bedroom window open a bit at night, whatever the weather, but I can't with this noise and even with window closed if it is happening when I am trying to get to sleep I have to put on a sleep app to drown it out!

Wondered if anyone else is hearing this loud quite high pitched noise that occurs during daytime and at night and through the night. It's loud enough to be heard through double glazing. I have recorded it, so it's not in my head. ;-) http://s000.tinyupload.com/?file_id=09155437182489084179 Anyone know what it could be? I wondered if it was something to do with all the school building work.

Hi Admin, I have put another query about this up but I am eager to get a free item post put up in relevant board. I have tried two different browsers, checked photo upload size, hosted photo externally but still unable to post. I keep getting taken back to the advert after I press post message. I wondered if there might be a combination of words or letters that I might have in my advert which would stop it? Update - seems that I am not allowed to post the brand name of a sportswear beginning with A and ending in S

although I seem to have posted here fine!

Have tried several times to post in the for sale section. Tried two different browsers in case that was the issue. Photo is of right size and I cannot find anything else that would prevent posting. When I press post message it takes me back to a page with my post as if I haven't posted it. Can anyone help please?

I was over in Somerset a week or so ago and witnessed a scarm where my Mum lives. I checked on the bee association website and found several beekeepers who come out to collect. A few hours after swarming they were safely on their way to a new home. It's the second time I've done this and watching collection is fascinating.
