I don't think so no, it's a very stable continuous tone. I might have to actually get outside and see if I can follow where it comes from. It is very annoying and although I am not ready to do any gardening yet, it would drive me crazy if I was. I usually have my bedroom window open a bit at night, whatever the weather, but I can't with this noise and even with window closed if it is happening when I am trying to get to sleep I have to put on a sleep app to drown it out!

Wondered if anyone else is hearing this loud quite high pitched noise that occurs during daytime and at night and through the night. It's loud enough to be heard through double glazing. I have recorded it, so it's not in my head. ;-) http://s000.tinyupload.com/?file_id=09155437182489084179 Anyone know what it could be? I wondered if it was something to do with all the school building work.

Hi Admin, I have put another query about this up but I am eager to get a free item post put up in relevant board. I have tried two different browsers, checked photo upload size, hosted photo externally but still unable to post. I keep getting taken back to the advert after I press post message. I wondered if there might be a combination of words or letters that I might have in my advert which would stop it? Update - seems that I am not allowed to post the brand name of a sportswear beginning with A and ending in S

Have tried several times to post in the for sale section. Tried two different browsers in case that was the issue. Photo is of right size and I cannot find anything else that would prevent posting. When I press post message it takes me back to a page with my post as if I haven't posted it. Can anyone help please?

I was over in Somerset a week or so ago and witnessed a scarm where my Mum lives. I checked on the bee association website and found several beekeepers who come out to collect. A few hours after swarming they were safely on their way to a new home. It's the second time I've done this and watching collection is fascinating.

Cards/Mail being folded through letterbox

I've made complaints before, official and unofficial. Apologies and promises. Sue Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > What? Cards/Mail being folded through letterbox
Alec1 replied to Alec1's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
I did have this a few years ago with regular postie and had to complain as it happened twice with a moonpig card I had ordered for my daughters birthday. I caught him doing it second time, complained at sorting office. It's not the same person at moment though. -
Letters have been around twice in last 7 days or so

Wondered if anyone else is having this issue? Christmas cards and other mail is being folded to go through my letterbox which I really don't understand as it's 9.5 inches long. (Yes, I sadly measured!) Okay, it's not end of world but it's frustrating as cards are damaged.

Hahaha.....yes, I might get more than I bargain for, but hey....you only live once and I'm an open minded guy!

Thank you Angelina, I'm going to have a shot at some of those ideas!

I bought a 'leather' sofa from here a little while ago. All okay for a few weeks then I noticed it was getting sticky on the seat parts. It is now unusable without a cover. Have done some research and it appears this might be particular to bicast leather. Obviously I would like to trust the sellers about this, as I was lead to believe it was 100% leather but since I did text them asking how they used to clean it, with no response forthcoming, I am guessing that I might have been duped. Leather cleaning products are really pricey, there are so many different ones, and it was a struggle to cough up the ?100 I paid for it...I just wanted something lovely and comfortable for a change instead of old and tired. If anyone has some advice, then I would be really grateful. Thanks in advance. :-)

This is a long shot, but I have had a parcel delivered to my address which I accepted as I have a couple of mates who send me mail with joke names. Don't ask. This parcel has my address on but contents is not for me, no note or return address. If anyone knows someone with this name please can you pm me. Thanks. If this is in wrong section please let me know so I can move it.

That's what puzzles me. On a summer evening there can be loads of BBQs going. Surely that is no different to burning a few logs in a firepit or chiminea? I can understand burning plastic, that's just sheer ignorance!

I would suggest going to your pharmacist or GP.
