I met the owner at the Fair on Sunday and he seemed like a nice guy, I will be trying it out sometime this week. I have heard good things about it on this site.

Thanks you all for your advice, I have just come back from having a look at the property on Bawdale Road. You were pretty much spot on?? Bawdale Road seems to be a nice road and the flat was hideously overpriced. I witnessed no evidence of a brothel? Thanks again for your help!!!!

Snorky, thanks for the Brothel update. My friend was trying to purchase a second floor flat but the deal seems to be falling flat. He was offering stupid amounts for it and the seller seems to be dragging his heels..... Best of out me thinks. Keep twitching those curtains!!!!

A friend from work has put an offer on a place in Bawdale Road. (he is waiting to hear back from the agent.) It would be good to hear from people who live on and around the road. What is parking like, is it noisey in the evenings...... all that kind of stuff.... Thanks for your help.....

I had an awful takeaway from Hong Hong by the Vale pub. It was so bad that I threw it away and was tempted to go to Maxim Chicken place over the road.

Looks like we have leaked too many runs..... It was a shame to see Lara go out on a whimper. I was looking forward to him coming over here in the summer and twating our bowling all over the park.

My partner is about to undergo fairly serve Scoliosis Surgery, when she returns home she may well need home care. Has anyone experienced home care? If so can you let me know what your experience was like and any advice on how I ought to approach such organisations? I am more than happy to chat via PM or email. Thanks J
