Barclays do a children's saving account - I opened my daughter an account in the East Dulwich branch - I think it is a minimum of ?1 - not sure about the ATM card though.

I think Yahoo are having issues as I use Yahoo e-mail and it has been up and down today.

London Overground also cancelled the 11:29 Dalston Junction train at very short notice today so not sure if they were having problems.

For services that only run within the capital (or within the area that TfL cover) I agree that would make sense. I would imagine they would have to compensate the TOC if they were moved before the end of the franchise. That said the London Overground operates with driver only operated trains - it would be a strange situation where these services switch to this method of operation yet this is what Southern are looking to implement.

We got Fay Ripley's "Fay's Family Food" when my daughter was about 9 months old and we still cook from it five years later. The recipes have are low touch and healthy and also have tips about how to modify them for young children. I'd certainly recommend it - we got it from Rye Books.

I don't agree that the markings of the speed limit are vague - they are sign-posted and painted on the road plus there are banners in the borough saying that the limit in Southwark is 20mph. I also don't see how it being a TfL bus route makes a difference - are buses not expected to obey speed limits?

The idea of having a second vote is far too reminiscent of what happened with the EU Constitution after France and the Netherlands rejected it in referendums. If the franchise is changed to allow people who weren't eligible to vote the first time to vote the second then it does just look like an attempt to stack the deck. Perhaps if the EU had taken note of the concerns of the European people back when the EU Constitution was rejected and revised how the EU worked then the UK wouldn't be at this juncture.

Traffic was very heavy again this morning going right back to Red Post Hill. It looks like Thames Water (or one of their contractors) are doing some work at the intersection and their are temporary lights.

By co-incidence I was in the Museum of London on Saturday and they have an exhibit and interactive display with the maps http://www.museumoflondon.org.uk/london-wall/whats-on/galleries/peoples-city-1850s-1940s/ Very interesting to look at what was in the area 125 years ago.

Yes - seems to be back to normal which is good.

The P13 is on diversion due to resurfacing on Whateley Road. (https://tfl.gov.uk/bus/status/?Input=P13&lineIds=p13&direction=inbound) Does anyone know how long this is scheduled to last? Thanks, rjsmall

During the school term I use the P13 to take my daughter from the Friern Road stop to the West Dulwich station stop. Usually we get the bus about 8:05am (as Jah Lush suggests use the Live Bus Arrivals from London Transport online) and arrive anywhere between 8:25am and 8:35am. On Friday there is usually less traffic and the journey is quicker. It can get crowded at the Grove Tavern stop but a lot of people get off at Dulwich College and West Dulwich station. I have found it to be very reliable - once or twice in the mornings it was late. For the return journey in the evening I have found it less reliable - sometimes you get no bus for 20 minutes and then two turn up a minute apart.

I recently celebrated my 40th in the top floor of the EDT. Great venue and the staff were good. The upstairs has plenty of room for dancing (we had a band) and loads of space at the bar.

I cannot work out where Peckham Rye and Barry Road come into it going in either direction.

I think there are two separate parts to this - the cafe at the front and Gymboree at the back with their entrance on the side (under the sign that is hanging).
