Numbers, I'm with you on bacon in burgers. And bacon in Bloody Marys? What sort of total cunt has bacon in a bloody Mary? Personally a bloody mary would make me hurl anyway, but if I saw someone having one with bacon I really would want to go all Goodfallas on them and start bashing their head against the bar.

I've never heard of "stabby" neighbourhoods. Does this mean an area where stabbings are common? Serious question, I've never seen that word before.

RE Income increasing. Between 25 - 30, my income did go up by about ?11k. It's barely moved in the last 5 or 6 years, and that ain't gonna change anytime soon. At the same time we've had kids, so my wife's income has halved. We've got a fingernail hold on the bottom of the ladder only because my father in law helped up with a deposit and because of the help to by scheme (which came with SHIT mortgage deal). Without our parents dying and leaving stuff to us, we will never afford anything else in London. And we live in Penge, which is comparable to Catford price wise.

For me, it will totally depend on proximity to pay day as to whether I can come, but if it works out just after pay day I am genuinely up for it.

It can be done badly which is off putting. I avoid the bacon in the work canteen because it's dry and just tastes of salt. But a good bacon sandwich is something very special. I don't know how I'd have survived my 20s without bacon sarnies and cups of builder's.

Years ago I used to hang around with some Camberwell art college students, and there was a girl in their regular boozer who used to tie her hair back with bacon. Artists.

When I see photos from our old gaff and my Marshall half stack can be seen in the background. Ended up selling it because it hadn't been used in a couple of years and was completely inpractical (especially for a non driver), but took me ages to force myself to sell, and it felt like I was drawing a line under my rock years.

A couple of minutes walk (tops) from where it stops in Streatham, is The Waterfront. A friend used to work there and they did a mean pizza, which could be a good belly liner. Haven't been there for a few years though, and a look at street view shows they've painted it a horrid aqua colour, so perhaps best avoided.

I'm not disagreeing with anyone, but equally I don't understand why people think ios would be easier. I use both and don't see that much difference in terms of usability (I actually prefer Android).

Hamlets Bar? As in the bar at the football club? If so, why on earth would anyone want to use that bar outside the context of football? (or a party / function)
