  1. Yeah cheers for the spoiler! Although I'll have forgotten it by the time I get round to playing it in a few years time.
  2. I'm quite liking titch juicy's idea.
  3. Don't know, but if anywhere is likely to do it I'd try The Man of Kent, Nunhead. 02076397485
  4. Because although this is a month off for charity, I'm hoping to change my drinking habits a bit along the way.
  5. I want to avoid alcohol free beers. Last time I had a month off (some time ago now) I basically had alcohol free beer all the time, often coupled with a cheeky smoke, in order to try and forget that I wasn't drinking. This didn't exactly help to break the habit. So I don't want anything that tastes like booze.
  6. Think I've done this thread before sometime long ago, but here we are again. I'm off the booze for October for this MacMillan fund raising (up to ?225, feel free to chip in). It's the weekend, what can I get that's a bit more interesting than water, squash or your usual suspects from the fizzy drinks range. Last couple of nights I've poured myself a glass of Coke and have felt the need to scrub my teeth til my gums bled, you can feel them rotting away as you drink the stuff!
  7. Exactly right.
  8. I just thought it was impressively cut together to be honest.
  9. I liked the story and the humour of Fable 2. Of course they're mere snacks when you're playing elder scrolls, but sometimes you don't need a 3 course meal.
  10. Book People do some great bargains.

I'd like to meet Jan the Lush.
  12. Well bah bloody humbug to you.
  13. I love the Fable games (well the 2 that I've played anyway). Never heard of that bloke though.
  14. Oops, that's what happens when you use opera mini to read the forum on your phone (only thing I still use opera mini for). Still worth another post though, whoever you support, that vid is a work of genius.

And I think things will improve for Liverpool, just a bit frustrating after last season. But not all about Suarez, more about new players settling. Look at the first 9 games of last season sans Suarez.

Agreed. He took on his broither because he believed he was better to take the party forward. His brother probably would have played the part better, but any Blairite can fuck off as far as I'm concerned.

    Liverpool are shit.

Indeed.

Yeah I'm sure it was all very altruistic. Gawd bless 'em.
  21. I'd always assumed a cook shop sold pots and pans, didn't realise it actually sold food.
  22. I think we should stop using words like "punished", no one is being punished, they don't have a God given right to a place at the nearest school, or a God given right to a sibling place. Using words like "punished" suggests a sense of entitlement. I totally agree that families temporarily moving just to secure a school place is something that needs to somehow be stopped. But I suspect that more people are moving for genuine reasons than for dishonest reasons. And it's not like you can just turn up at the school nearest your new place and say "hello, we've moved locally, you'll need to find a place for my year 3 child as well as my reception child".
  23. I think Ed Miliband is a decent man and I think he has some good ideas, I just think he's a media disaster, and unfortunately he lives in a time where substance means fuck all, and playing well to the cameras / microphone means everything.
