I've always liked Peckhamplex, there is something reassuringly shit about it.

    Hahaha!
  7. Did yiu mean to bump the gun crime thread? Otherwise I don't get it. Not that I'd get that either to be honest.
  8. They've squeezed 5 flats in there? They must be pokey!
  9. Flog CDs or whatever, but passing a hat round at a gig is not on. Calling someone who is not involved in this thread a lying cheating dick is not on either.

I think this is one of my favourite ever posts.
  11. I guess every child is different, but 4 seems very young to learn guitar.
  12. Rather than making her meal earlier I personally woukd make bed time a little later. Our daughter is 4 and is only now getting used to using the potty (it's remembering to tell us she needs it which is the issue) oddly the nights don't seem to be a problem. I feel your pain though, it's a friggin nightmare! I'm just dreading my girl having accidents and getting teased at school which starts next week. SHE'S TOO LITTLE, LEAVE HER THE FUCK ALONE!

  14. 1. What Quids said on page 1. 2. Didn't matter what Hoopers tried, wrong location. In my opinion, the days of the back street boozer are dead and will probably never return. There is the odd one left that has the after work regulars, but they are rare. People just don't pop to the pub to socialise anymore. It's sad, as they used to be a hub of society. Even a mere ten years ago in summer 2003 I made a load of good friends (to this day) via the pub. I can't imagine that really happening now.

Still it is hardly > surprising that selective schools do so well There is a whole thread about this. Lots of ambitious parents who can't afford private schools are shipping their kids out to Kent grammars.

European Leagues summer transfer window spend 2013 Premier League - ?630m La Liga - ?335m Serie A - ?335m Ligue 1 - ?315m Bundesliga - ?230m Just goes to show how absolutely mental things are over here.

But if a team sign a player on a 4 year conreact and pay say ?12m, then he is costing ?3m a year. Don't agree with it, but when you consider it that way it doesn't seem so outlandish.
  19. When I was in Australia we had to go and buy tram tickets in a shop. I worked it out pretty easily.

Think Everton have done some bloody good business yesterday. And I'm not talking about afro man going to united.

According to the BBC, Prem clubs have spent ?510m so fr this summer. Which means Spurs have spent 20% of the total outlay for the league. I'm pleased with Liverpool's business. Lots of Man U fans suggesting that they should satch Ozil away from Arsenal...

A few seasons back when Gerrard was at his peak, he got injured for a bit and missed some huge games (in fact now I say it, I think it may have been the champions league 2005, because I think he missed the quarters against Juve) and everyone feared we'd be lost without him. However, the team played brilliantly working for each other. Sometimes losing the man that everyone tries to pass to can be a good thing for the team as a whole. And Sturridge and Coutinho really are looking like they just click. Not getting over excited and joining in these ridiculous "Liverpool title contenders" things that I'm reading, but I am feeling that if we can get some consistency in our game, we're as good as Arsenal or Spurs. And speaking of which, Spurs just look like a team of strangers at the moment. I have no doubt it will all come together, but they'd best be quick about it. Maybe Wenger was right when he said it can be dangerous to bring in more than 3 players at one time.
  25. It's not that big a deal to nip in to a station ONCE to activate it surely.
