  1. "My post was in response to the suggestion that it's unintelligent to wish Catherine well." I never actually said that to be fair.
  2. This new scheme whereby you only need a 5% deposit and the gov puts up 15%, starts in Jan 14. We certainly hope to take advanage, as will lots of others I imagine. So dare say we'll be moving further afield (still in London) as our budget definitely wouldn't get us much. Hoping to find some nice ex council flat in Sydenham...
  3. I think Liverpool know he'll be off, but I think they want ?50m, and to sell him abroad.
  4. So Arsenal fans, do you actually like the idea of Suarez coming to your club? For the record I don't think he'll end up at Arsenal. I think he'll claim he wants to speak to them in order to kind of push Real Madrid in to doing something. If they don't come in for him he's going to look like quite the tool, and have to do some serious goal scoring to win back the affection of a lot of reds fans who are probably feeling pretty betrayed after backing him so wholeheartedly over repeated shite!

Nothing, I hope. > This was a point I was making the other day about everyone (press and idiots) hanging around outside the hospital. Had something gone wrong the poor woman would have had to face that mob during a hugely distressing time. I am very pleased that they had a healthy baby boy with no lasting ill effect to mum. I just find all the attention twisted.
  6. Maybe she was feeling hot and bothered. Not saying it's okay, but I know I wouldn't fancy that job in this weather. Everyone's allowed the odd bad day.

    It's a boy

    I like Bert.
  8. Being close to family becomes a lot more desirable when you factor in free childcare needs.

  10. An old friend of mine is well in to this campaign and often posts about it on Facebook. I must admit when I see these posts I have thought "aren't there more important femenist arguments for you to put your energy in to?". I'm not pro Page 3, but I do think some of the arguments about the effect a pair of breasts could have on children are pretty nonsensical.
  11. I doubt there's a lot of space for kids in there, and you're not very close to any schools.
  12. A couple of people that I previously thought were intellegent have posted things like "wonderful news, well done Kate" on Facebook. I don't know if it's some sort of sisterhood thing where women feel that they share some sort of bond having delivered a child, but I strongly suspect Kate wouldn't give a fuck what they say or think.

    Not A SCAM!!

This had slipped down the list and was forgotten. Now you've managed to remind everyone of the accusations. Good work.

  15. Yeah I'm enjoying watching DeGale's career go nowhere fast after the way he was about Groves.

Illegal immigrants are dirty (clean underwear > wouldn't flavour anything); This is where I just can't take the whole thing seriously. Pant jokes are everywhere in silly comedy. I wouldn't want anyone's pants in my curry. It all just came over as a bit Dennis the Menace. I think people have made more of it because of who posted it.

  18. Most of my friends who have left are not originally from London. They don't have roots and family here. I won't lie, we are really struggling financially right now living here, and that's with a relatively low rent (although ?1100 will never be cheap in my book), but both me and my wife are from here and our kid's grandparents are here, and there is a part of both of us that just doesn't want to be pushed out because of money. Money fucking sucks!
  19. Haha
  20. I've felt down at times in recent months because I have very few local friends left. Only a few years ago we were a big circle of fun loving social animals. Then we bloody grew up, and I admit I'm finding the transition harder to come to terms with than some.
  21. As someone who likes all things lemon, and is very hot and bothered, MM's recipe is very appealing to me right now!
  22. DJKillaQueen Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- >the suggestion that indian > restaurants need illegal immigrants for their > underpants as the secret ingrediant to a korma recipe funny. I'm not entirely sure anyone ever actually suggested that Indian restaurants "needed" anything.

How can you be sure what Stephen Fry would think?
  24. Scott has said in America you amways get the full 10 count, but he took it with grace.
  25. IF Fury gets well beaten by Haye, he'll probably be more interested in another Chisora fight.
