Well you got Spurs right this weekend, but Leicester 2 points up at this stage ;-) So Leicester now need 4 wins from their last 6 and the title is theirs whatever else happens... I almost feel more excited than I did when Liverpool came close a couple of years back. This just isn't supposed to be happening. I almost feel sorry for Spurs, because any other year they'd have massive support from neutrals wanting them to win instead of the same old suspects. But throw a team that were nearly relegated last year in to the mix...

Was keeping an eye on the bbc website, and once Spurs equalised I thought they'd probably win it, so pleased with a point. Apparently that was the last time this season that Spurs will play their match before Leicester.

Unfortunately I am tied to the desk this weekend writing an essay which is due Monday. I am not confident as spurs are playing so well, and no Firmino is a blow as he's a real threat. But it should be a tasty match.

Apparently Roberto Firmino is a doubt for tomorrow's match. That'll be music to Spurs' ears I'd imagine.

But then when plans are submitted to build, everyone suddenly gets all NIMBY and starts objecting. Look at the proposals for the Iceland building being 4 stories. Suddenly we've had people on this forum saying it will set a precedent and the area will be full of "high rises" (4 stories?!?!?). I read this the other day, which I thought was interesting. http://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/davehillblog/2016/mar/29/which-london-mayor-candidate-will-fix-the-capitals-housing-crisis
  6. And getting rid of parent governors is absolutely crazy.

I know you're probably right compared to similar properties in the area, but I still find it unbelievable that houses in East Dulwich go for that kind of money, let alone it being seen as a bargain!

I guess a lot of the people that viewed the OP were in a similar boat.

To be honest, I doubt it will make much difference for the children of East Dulwich (so long as they have no additional needs), and there will be schools that benefit from it. But overall I think it will lead to real unfairness.

  12. That site is perfect, thanks uncleglen.
  13. Indeed. But it makes Grok feel all tingly and excited.
  14. Really? That's great news. I was only going on what I'd been told at matches. Glad to be wrong.
  15. Our daughter wants the solar system for her birthday (not asking much then). Can anyone recommend a good model or ceiling projector? I have googled, but I'm wondering if anyone has actually bought anything and been impressed (or not) by it... Thanks
  16. RE Grok and stalking, there was a well known poster on here, banned many a time back in the day, who used to get off on doing a bit of that. He'd mention having seen people at puns and stuff. One day the guy walked up and introduced himself to my wife in a library, having worked out who she was. That was a bit weird.

  18. Haven't read all the responses, but it has always been that even if you apply for a disabled bay outside of your property, anyone with a blue badge is entitled to use it. It's public highway and you can't own a piece of it. If someone has a blue badge, then they have met eligibility criteria, and are entitled to use any bay. Yes you would hope that people wouldn't be inconsiderate and use one at times when they knew it was needed by a resident that lives there, but that resident has no right to claim it as their own.
  19. I don't think Darrell is dead either, but it's all getting a bit tasty. I must admit though that for the first time I am starting to get SLIGHTLY fed up with the whole thing, but I'm sure after the finale I'll be back on board and desperate for the next season.
  20. Breastfeeding in public, be it bus of cafe. DISGUSTING!!!
  21. How do you know the food was smelly or that slobbering was going on?
  22. WHOA!!!
  23. Latest is that there is no surgery planned. Hopefully this is a good sign.
  24. Was sad to read of this this morning. Really hope he comes through it. Last thing we want is another Michael Watson from a Eubank fight.
