Perhaps so, but google "goose is out sue" and there you are, you don't even need to click on a link, your name is right there in the google results. > > You must have really gone out of your way to find > that. To be VERY clear, I hadn't tried to find anything. Until reading this post from you, I hadn't searched or anything else. > I had to really search to find it myself. > Nobody looking at the website would ever notice > it, under normal circumstances. I hadn't found it, it's only now reading this post fom you that I've bothered going to google to see how easy it would be to find. Lewis clearly had, that's all I was saying. -

Look I am not trying to row with you, but maybe when you type things like > ETA: And Otta, why would anybody "care to go > looking" on the internet for information about me, > unless they had ulterior motives? It feels a bit like you're singling people out and demanding answers from them. When in this case all I meant is that you'd put your name on a website which is publicly available, that was all. -

That post came after The Twitter posts. -
Yes that sounds right, and there was your classic pub carpet and wooden rails.

I'm not saying they would, but it's in the public domain if someone wants to find it because of your well known association with Goose. And I know harassment is not limited to sexual, and no that's not what I was getting at. God Sue sometimes it feels as though you're just looking for something to argue about. I was simply trying to say why Loz may have felt that language used by a poster (that wasn't you) was a bit OTT. I still stand by my opinion above and don't think Lewis is harassing you, even if he is being a total cock. As for why he seems to be singling you out, I guess the Goose gives him an easy "in" in terms of who you are. -
Local film clubs are being badly affected by the East Dulwich Picturehouse
Otta replied to IngridB's topic in The Lounge
Ingrid, an old friend of mine as co written and produced a film "Sleaford Mods, Invisible Britain". It's being shown on a very limited basis at Picturehouse cinemas around the country. For me this is exactly the sort of thing that film clubs should be trying to show, possibly with Q&As afterwards. -
Yes, losing the cinema would be a real shame. It's all well and good having ED Picturehouse, but havinbg Peckhamplex is another useful and cheaper option, especially if you just ant to take the kids to something to pass a rainy day.

Indeed, and I don't see why they wouldn't. My memory could be playing tricks on me, because I was probabl;y about 12 at the time, but I'm sure once upon a time the "stage room" was more in keeping with the rest of the pub decor.

Loz was talking about this. ------------------------------------------------------- > Nice way of sounding high minded whilst > supporting a known, unrepentant harasser of > women. Now Lewis' behaviour on twitter is out of order, and if he'd been positing my name I'd be unhappy. But the language newton has chosen to use here is way OTT. "Harasser of women" - We all know that that makes Lewis sound like something that he doesn't deserve to be painted as. "Pain in the arse", "spreader of false thruths", "over stepping personal boundaries" would all be appropriate descriptions of Lewis following his recent antics, but "harasser of women" has a far darker and wider connotation and it is unwise to throw that sort of language around. He's out of order for his twitter antics, but I don't think he's broken any rules, or posted soanything that isn't available on the internet for anyone that cared to go looking. So unless he's sending personal messages I don't think there is any harassment going on here. That's my opinion anyway. -

So can this nonsense be locked now, whilst sensible discussion happens elsewhere? -
It has roads with nice houses, but when I think of HH I just think of a busy traffic junction.

Petition for reasonable rents from Dulwich Estates
Otta replied to bumpy's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
The point Rayner makes about the half moon is a nonsense, because had they had their way it would have long ago been turned in to flats (above the pub) and no doubt brought them in significant income. Im glad that didn't happen, but to say they've just left it empty isn't entirely accurate. -
I've always thought HH was crap, and have only ever gone there if there was a specific gig on. Never just because it's a nice place to go. Different folks and all that.

And yeah, not lumping panda boy in with them, he's been perfectly reasonable in his posts. -

The group that people are now largely referring to as Daesh would rather the world continued to call them ISIS, the reason being that it adds some validation to their claimed caliphate. By calling them Islamic State we somehow acknowledge the existence of said state. Let's stop calling this ridiculous group "SSW" because it only makes them feel validated. I am NOT comparing the actions of this group to those of Daesh obviously. Lewis has not beheaded anyone (yet). But his mad dash to chain himself to a digger and get his photo in a local rag just screamed "look at me look at me". Let's just stop all this and starve them of the attention they so desperately crave. -

I genuinely thought Lewis wad kind of using this whole thing for comedy, but the guy is being way too personal. Being as he seems completely incapable of having a word with himself, perhaps other members of SSW could reign him in. As I said pages ago, he is doing your cause absolutely no good at all. Just the opposite in fact. -

10 foot wide property in ED for ?800,000 anyone?
Otta replied to Libby's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
The house to the left was my friend's family home until about a decade ago. This was their garage. His mum sold the lot for a lot less than they're asking for the garage now. -
Yeah I really want them to win the title, but still just can't see it. One or two injuries could totally derail them, especially if to key players. But I live a fairytale, and fingers crossed they'll get over the line...

I thought Lewis was genuinely funny up to a point, but he over played it. -
Well the mosque on an open day is as good a place as any to chat surely.

On the bigger picture of religion, no. But in terms of community, I think it's positive.
-
Perhaps understandable as a couple of women have been harassed or attacked for wearing the hijab. But if that had anything to do with the decision it would be sad that a chance to engage had been ruined by local pond life creating fear.

The mosque off Penge High Street unfortunately wasn't taking part either. I'd have popped in if they were.
