This was fun for a while (I never really cared either way about what happens, but I did think some of the SSW falsehoods needed challenging), but the fun has drained away and it's like watching a once loved pet sitting in it's own poo because it can't move on. Put it out of it's misery. -

Yes they do scholarships and bursaries. http://www.dulwich.org.uk/college/admissions/scholarships-bursaries That is not to say that they are not very privileged schools that shouldn't really be funded by a "charity", but it is a completely different conversation to how much the estate should be charging in rent. And we're not talking about a family having to leave their home due to rent increases, we're talking about a business that has several branches ( a small chain in fact). As is often the case in discussions like this, emotive nonsense kind of ruins things. I don't believe fee paying schools should exist, but it's an entirely different discussion. -
Bloody hell, Leicester! Nervous Arsenal fans?

No beef, just want balanced discussion with facts, not emotive stuff. -
The first thing to remember is that the autistic spectrum is huge and one person with ASD can present completely differently to another. My daughter (coming up to 7) was diagnosed aged 4. Probably would have been earlier but she was basically failed by her (now closed by ofsted but not for this reason) preschool. She is high functioning and is more or less keeping up at school, it's more the social stuff she struggles with (much happier talking with adults, and tends to play with boys because they're less complicated). Sensory stuff is big for her, particularly noise. She loved going to Dulwich Hamlet with me a couple of times, but soon became distressed at the noise levels and now doesn't want to go. I work in SEN and am often in schools working with kids at the severe end of the spectrum. I guess this helps me have some perspective on how much worse things could be, but that is not to say life is without its challenges. And there is also her little sister to think of, who maybe misses out on some attention at times, and we feel guilty for that. No one wants a diagnosis of ASD for their child, but try to remain positive, my daughter cracks me up with the way she looks at the world sometimes :-)

Bit harsh calling GNR shite based on that clip.

You're totally right, but I can still remember watching them when I was 13/14 and thinking it/they were the coolest thing ever.

To be fair, I thought it was pretty obvious Lewis was joking. -
Who could forget Sean Dundee? Oh yeah, everyone.

This (from the Freddie Mercury tribute) was the first I'd ever heard of it, and it led me to find the Alice Cooper version. I especially wanted to post this clip as I know how much Jah Lush hates the GNR version of heavens door ;-)

I know that song because Guns n' Roses used to play part of it live before going in to Knocking on Heaven's Door. I then found out that Alice Cooper had done it. I never realised it was a cover.

I read that yesterday. I love that Liverpool have the question "Why are Liverpool so bad?" as one of theirs. If you click on it it takes you to this article http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1320844-20-years-of-bad-decisions-the-liverpool-fc-way Was a trip down memory lane. I'd forgotten some of those players altogether. Just highlights how many rubbish signings Liverpool made again and again, whilst Man United were signing star after star for less money than LFC were paying for total shite.

"Herne Hill came to a standstill on Saturday 30th January 2016" From the look of the photos that is something of an exaggeration.

Hmmm, no surprise that Zonderlings never heard back then! I don't like this "Now run by the same team behind The Montpelier, The White Horse has made a speedy transition from overlooked local into the neighbourhood?s newest favourite boozer. Sticking to a strict 100% vinyl only policy with resident selectors spinning Soul & Funk every Friday and boasting its own in-house band, The White Horse still packs plenty of old school charm despite its welcome change in direction." The White Horse did a good trade before it changed hands thank you very much.

Refreshing to hear him talk like that, as usually I just want someone to slap his mouth shut. It could be an interesting fight, but yeah, would be a huge surprise if Khan won it.

Clearly the SSW gang decided to jump on to this thread today. Panda boy I would respectfully suggest that you have absolutely no grasp on just how little money local authorities have to spend right now. And with actual important stuff to worry about, the state of a few trees really isn't going to be a priority. I'm really sorry that you all enjoy walking in the cemetery and feel this will be ruined, but there are lots of wooded areas you can go to. -

Lewis has probably got a load of hidden cameras around the area. This will be a show at next year's fringe. -
