  1. I'm not sure case vs case is the same as context vs context, but anyway. You also said Evra had video evidence and written statements. Where is this information from I AM NOT CHALLENGING YOU, I AM ASKING A QUESTION BECAUSE I AM INTERESTED. Ahem, just wanted to make that clear.
  2. Anyway, interesting report on Channel 4 news. They did state that nothing was caught on camera in this case (unlike Terry), so I can only surmise that it was a case of Suarez's version of events against Evra's. Not so much word against word, as there is no denial that a word was used, but more context vs context. If that is correct, then I think 8 matches is clearly a message to others.
  3. Oh FFS. I don't know what your seemingly personal gripe with me is, but I am fucking fed up with it. I didn't go off sulking at all. I find this story interesting, and I am firmly on the side that thinks racism is vile. You however seem to have a real bee in your bonnet about Suarez, and any other Liverpool player for that matter (see your earlier post about Carroll and Bellamy - as if Liverpool are the only club to have wankers playing for them). News Flash, most prem players are probably wankers with massive entitlement complexes. I wanted to discuss this case with people on here, but there is no room for discussion with you, you feel that you are right, and that is that (look no further than your username for proof of that). And you talk down to / are rude to people who disagree with you. Let me be very clear here, I am not sulking, I am just fed up with reading your shit.
  4. Anyway, too story on channel 4 news now.
  5. Is that taken from the UDT Dictionary?
  6. Exactly! And yes UDT, I remember calling you an idiot, and I'm pleased it sunk in.
  7. Yes I do, but that doesn't make it a legal decision. You're really not as bright as you think you are, are you.
  8. As I said in the drawing room, this was not a legal decision. I'd be very interested to see it go to a court of law. Anyway UDT, you are both full of it, and really rude, so I can't be bothered trying to discuss anything with you anymore.
  9. Also, why do you insiston being so rude and dismissive of people, like you are somehow way more clued up than the rest of us? It's bloody tiresome!
  10. This wasn't a legal decision. If it was, it probably would have been different.
  11. Well can you point us in the direction of that video then??? Seriously UDT, whatever you may think that I think, I am not one of these Liverpool fans who assumes Suarez is innocent because he's a Liverpool player. I'll even admit that Evra has never accused anyone else of racial abuse, even when his name has been involved. However, you have been absolutely convinced from the start that Suarez is guilty, and that is where I am confused. If the investigation makes it's evidence public, and there is clear evidence that Suarez used racially abusive language, then I'll admit the ban is deserved, because I, like you, believe that there is no place for racism in football, or anywhere bloody else! I just don't know how anyone who has not had access to the evidence that the investigation has looked at, can be certain about this either way. This is from a Man U fan site, and I think it is quite right.

Agreed. I admit that I am no expert on this stuff, it is not my satrong point. As a result, I read threads like this with interest, hoping to learn a few things. However, the last few pages have become tit for tat, and I am now rather confused. I shall look elsewhere for some explanation.
  13. On that, I agree 100% with UDT. My only issue with this is that it just seems to be based on very little evidence. Silverfox, you are surely just trolling here, no?
  14. Both our girls are poorly, and last night was the worst night for all of us. I'm only just on the way to work, and intend to be heading home again ASAP!
  15. By the way, did anyone else think this thread was going to say... ... "and I've just seen them in the For Sale section"?
  16. Yesterday I put out our first ever buggy and it was taken by a scrap man. Didn't feel a thing. Particular items of clothing like vests that they've both worn as newborns. They will never be given away.
  17. Well you can ask.
  18. UDT, either you have information and access to evidence that none of the rest of us have, or you're just making stuff up because you don't like Suarez and / or Liverpool. You are every bit as bad ad the Liverpool fans who are convinced he's innocent, without any facts. I agree Jah, court of law will probably be next step. I don't know if he's guilty or innocent, I just know that this "investigation" has been a shambles.
  19. Well they've certainly come out fighting.
  20. I had a little bet with myself who would be the first to pipe up. I won.
  21. 8 match ban for Suarez, with 14 days to appeal. I hope they give a full explanation of how it has been proven, as I'm genuinely interested to know. I just can't understand why, if there was proof, this wasn't sorted out within a bloody week!
  22. A couple of months ago, I was in Crystal Palace Park, and I was shocked to find that someone had driven an old van on to the footbridge, and set it alight. (Not my photo by the way) I thought that was the most bizarre thing I'd seen in a park, but the thought of whoever it was, carrying this sculpture out, is even weirder. Yeah I know, they wouldn't have actually carried it out as such.
  23. I blame the bloody Apprentice for giving people ideas! Seriously, this is really sad. My mum never liked the thing, but me and my sister always did. In more recent years, it is something that reminded me of childhood in Dulwich Park, seeming unchanged whilst the rest of the park was getting done up. Absolute bastartds!
  24. Firstly, I can't believe that anyone would still use the term "bastard" in this day and age. Secondly, I suspect children of unmarried couples feel just as secure, assuming their parents seem to get on well, I'd imagine they feel secure. A child in a home with two constantly arguing adults will not feel so secure, whether there is a marriage certificate or not.
