  1. Ha ha, Huguenot says you have a shameful opinion, so you call him a dickhead, and a shallow minded arsehole, then say he's making personal attacks. Brilliant.
  2. ALAS not the LL one as far as I know.
  3. Slow for me too.
  4. I use the machines for very small change that I can't be bothered counting, but have always bagged up bigger coins. HSBC now have these machines though, and the will just pay straight in to your accound without a charge.
  5. So you believe they're innocent too? I can sort of go along with the theory that public feeling is so strong that it could possibly have effected the trial. These people are guilty as sin though, and I bet it eats away at them that they can't gloat about it.I'm sure they'd love to shout it from the bloody roof tops.

Just to be very clear on this, I don't think any cold bloodied murder is any better or worse than another. I do however think that if a person evades justice for a number of years, then the law should take this in to account when it comes to sentencing. Maybe that is a discussion that will come out of this... NETTE could be right that their lives since the murder must have been pretty "different" but who knows, maybe they're proud of it.

Who are the many other people? 3. Do you also believe the other suspects in the case are all innocent? 4. Are you just winding us up for a laugh?
  8. Whilst the Bulger murder was beyond grim, I don't think it's comparable to this. I agree that the law cannot and should not bow to public outcry, but I just feel that these men deserve longer sentences because they've avoided justice for all these years. @taper, yes, apparently these days, a race murder would carry q 30 year minimum, but this is also a new law.
  9. Liverpool won't win the league. I'll get older by about 12 months. I probably won't get wiser.
  10. BBC News reckons about 12 years each. Personally I think it's bullshit. They may have been 16/17 at the time, but they've been guilty and avoided justice as adults, and should be punished for that. Shame they can't bring some new charge against them for that.
  11. @ Banksy, I'll be the first to admit the place could do with a bit of work, but I hate the idea of it being unrecognizable.
  12. Here we go, what Paul?
  13. Eatings cheating!
  14. That would be wonderful, but there is nothing happening on that front just yet. The case is still open, but "on hold". Maybe Dobson or Norris will grass them up, now they have nothing to lose... Fucking scum!

Perhaps that is because you made assumptions about the people in there without knowing a thing about them.
  16. What is a third place?
  17. InnBrighton Ltd have recently bought the CPT, here is there prospectus. InnBrighton Ltd (IB) creates and operates licensed premises which appeal to a section of a community for whom creative interaction is important to the enjoyment of leisure time. IB fuses the basic pleasures of consuming good food and drink, experiencing good service and conviviality in a comfortable and safe environment, with higher pleasures invoked by arts and humanities, to create third places that inspire creative interaction and evoke non conformity This may sound good to some. For me, it is the end of a place that has been part of my life for better or worse. RIP my beloved CPT, you will be missed.
  18. I'd pretty much forgotten about it, but then I'm not Irish. What do the Irish think of Maradonna?

  20. Anyone with an Android phone, I recommend this site for free emulators and thousands of games for the NES, SNES, Megadrive/Genesis, Atari NeoGeo, and more. When I was a kid, I loved the Dizzy games, like Treasure Island Dizzy. So I was pleased to find Fantastic Dizzy for the Genesis. I'd not heard of it before, but it's a really really fun game, that borrows ideas from the other Dizzy titles.
  21. Right, as of this coming Sunday, for a number of resons (non of which are a new years resolution), I intend to embark on a month of no alcohol. I know I am going to find it very tough, and I am looking for nice drinks to enjoy in the mean time, as lemon squash will get boring very quickly! I'm not really that in to cola and other fizzy drinks. I am a big fan of Orange & Passion fruit J2O, but equally, I resent the bloody price of them! Any favourites that I could give a try?
  22. I won't shed tears when she passes away, but I find people wishing her dead a bit disturbing.
  23. Anyone know if it's back this week or next? Thanks.
  24. Agree Willard. But Suarez is being made an example of, and whilst that sucks for Liverpool, maybe it will make other players mind their actions.
