  1. Not everyone is a liberal middle class Grok. And so what if a flat was being used as a "bush farm"? Why would everyone know? If they did then it would have been a shit operation.
  2. Yes, fair point. If Trump ends up president the world really will go to shit.

  4. This is one of those times when someone with a justified gripe (I wouldn't be happy with people partying in the garden until 4am) manages to lose all sympathy.
  5. Who exactly are you talking about Chief?

    Was all very odd.

  10. To be fair there are plenty of articles about it. The silly tart that started it has lived in Spain since 1989, I shit you not.

  12. I agree with Quids about online petitions. It was a nice idea, but too many muppets starting stupid ones.

Yep, I watched the second half of Return of the Jedi on telly a little while ago. First time I'd seen any of them in years, and it was shocking how back some of the acting was. Probably explains why Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher haven't exactly had great careers since.

  15. Trump and Katie Hopkins are on the same page. Tells you all you need to know.
  16. As I said elsewhere (reminded by robbin's contribution). 17. North Peckham Estate (A.K.A. "Frontline" was a bit if a no go once upon a time. Nothing to do with Islamic extremists though.

    Star Wars

I was born in 78, so grew up with the original films, and loved them (I wanted a light sabre so desperately. A real one, not a stupid toy). But despite that I was never mad on it, and when the second lot of films (prequels) were released I didn't go running to the cinema. And I am pleased I didn't because they were utter shite. I'll watch the new one when it's available for home viewing, because it will be cool to see the characters from my childhood, and I think Disney will probably have made an entertaining film now they're in charge. But again, I won't be running to the cinema, and I'm not one of these people pouring over every second of every trailer to be released.
  19. Reason police don't patrol a lot of places is because there aren't enough of them, not because they're scared. I work in East London, and can confirm that Grok is indeed talking shit.
  20. I love this thread. Fazer71 is by far my favourite contributer to this forum.
  21. And yet part of me is desperate to see him president and Corbyn PM at the same time. Comedy gold surely.
  22. My American cousins all think he's a joke, and yet the place is so huge anything can happen.
  23. Thesis quite a good and worrying write up. http://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2015/dec/08/i-dont-care-donald-trump-brushes-off-horrified-reaction-to-his-muslim-ban
  24. Thanks, that's what I was worried about. But my mum has bought it anyway, so will hope for the best.
