I can confirm that if you were born late 70s, your parents didn't listen to any popular music (and were older parents for the time), and the first thing you saw him do was "Dancing in the street" with Jagger, you probably felt a bit creeped out by him. I certainly did. Bit grew to like him, just nowhere near on the level of those 10 - 20 years my senior.
