  1. There have been so many players linked to United it's hardly worth speculating what will happen, if anything. But as you asked, we won't get anyone and Fellani will become our centre forward. Ed Woodward was in Barcelona last week. Not to get Pedro but to get Neymar. Yeah, right. How many players use interest from United as a tool to get a salary increase? If I had a hope it would be that Bale or Ronaldo get fed up with Benitez very quickly and United get one or the other.
  2. Is this a quiz?
  3. Several rugby clubs a few miles away. http://findrugbynow.com/london/london-rugby-clubs/london-womens-clubs/
  4. Swansea U 21's?
  5. 5400......thanks.
  6. Yeah.
  7. I thought my judgement was reasonably accurate. What makes you imply otherwise? If you want to have a go at Owen, feel free. Nothing to to with me.
  8. Love to know what WH fans will say about today. Currently 3-4.
  9. Which team are we talking about this week am ☺
  10. United looked great for about 20 minutes today. After that just frustration. Need a centre forward pronto unless Fellani is considered the answer. By the way Glenn Hoddle, if you are given a job on TV as a pundit, don't you think you should at least know that Fellani was not a sub and therefore could not come on and cause the threat to the Newcastle defence you thought he might.
  11. Aberration me a***. It was a game for intellects which is why it died a death (or never lived, depending on how you look at it). I never heard of Sandi in my childhood though if I had I would probably have had an infatuation with her. We might have been childhood sweethearts if being born and brought up in different places didn't get in the way.
  12. Hitler's views on England's WC selections........
  13. Here are the basics to the prediction game (scroll up to get the details to enter, 4 so far): The Group matches (40) are divided into 4 rounds of 8, 11, 9 & 12 games. These follow the order matches will be played. You can post your predictions anytime prior to a game kicking off for it to be included. Once you 'lock' your predictions it will allow you to see others predictions. Once locked you can't change your prediction and if you don't lock it, it will happen automatically when play starts. Points scoring: 1 point for a correct prediction in the Group stages. This increases to 1.5,2 & 3 points thereafter in the Q/F's to the Final. 0.5 points for getting the margin of victory to within 5 points. Must have winning team unless you predicted a margin of 5 points or less. In this case you will still win the bonus even if you predicted the wrong result. 1 Bonus point for being the closest to the winning margin in each match. This in theory could be divided if people are equally close. Grand Slam Point is awarded for getting all the results correct in a given group. This appears to be worth 2 points.
  14. http://www.independent.ie/sport/soccer/league-of-ireland/damien-duff-going-to-longford-was-like-going-to-old-trafford-i-had-butterflies-31455598.html Of course it was Damian. It's Longford. Great place and the team I used to watch. Star player in those days was John Givens. No, not Don of QPR fame, his brother.
  15. This is what it feels like........from twitter PAUL @CFC_Clive United's transfer policy is like a dog chasing balloons around a park. Bale! BALEBALEBALE...PEDRO! Pedro Pedro Ped...wait...MULLER! Muller! 11:58 AM - 19 Aug 2015
  16. From what I've read Spanish radio reported that United did pull out of the deal.
  17. So Pedro is going to Chelsea now. Did United not want him or what? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/33989090
  18. The Armada 1588 Potato introduced into Ireland 1589 It's possible.

We taught the armada shipwreck > peeps how to make it with spuds and they brought > it home with them. No word of a lie. Given my Spanish connections Mick, I'd love to know where that story came from.
  20. I'm getting on Phil and rarely venture out. The Flying Pig is supposed to be good for rugby from what I've read. But no doubt other places will show it too and you will get better recommendations from others than me.
  21. There's a few on the other thread who will join. Still plenty of time. I'll issue reminders as we get closer to KO.
  22. red devil Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Alan Medic Wrote: > -------------------------------------------------- > ----- > > I don't see why not. > > Good, I'll be on holiday during the tournament so > good to get reminders... Will you be posting on holiday? Better have another user name handy just in case. The game itself which I have now read a bit about, allows you to predict to your hearts content all 40 group games in advance if you want to.
  23. They are but they were lucky to win last time round and that was at home. They are not unbeatable (apart from when they play Ireland). Still, one day..........
  24. Like people stealing tyres like I read elsewhere?
