  1. Where has someone asked anyone else to believe anything without evidence SJ? Please quote accordingly.
  2. I think the bottom line is you have to find out for yourself. I'm not saying I have but I'm not going to write off someone else's say so simply because I've not experienced what they have.
  3. Who is asking you to accept anything apart from a possibility? Anyone can do that surely even if you think it unlikely. But to say something doesn't exist because you haven't experienced it is narrow minded imo.
  4. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=igYJTGM1AJo Is this what you mean?
  5. taper Wrote: > > And some people are sensitive to believing any old > crap because they are feeble minded. And you really do write 'any old crap'. Just because you don't know somwthing doesn't mean it doesn't exist and I'm talking about anything. For feeble minded read closed mind in your case.
  6. I've no evidence I'm afraid.
  7. That's the same as 'how do you know', Sue.
  8. Just finished reading SAF's autobiography and I do think he manages a more balanced outlook on many things than Keane does. That wisdom comes with age though none of us will be perfect however old we get. I did find it amusing that he said Beckham was the only player he ever came across who could never admit to having made a mistake (in a game). Even after showing him the video of what he meant Beckham couldn't see it. I also agree that Giggs was not the greatest but his longevity is amazing. When I saw him score his first goal against Spurs (I think) I was hoping for a new Georgie Best as it was a great goal. He was never that though. I really liked Kanchelskis and can only guess he moved for money. Sharpe too was good but perhaps lacking the dedication of some of the others in that era.

  10. Thanks for the posts. The OH did get her test there today. However I was sure I'd read somewhere on the forum that it wasn't doing them anymore. Good to have somewhere so convenient.

If people at one won point quite reasonably assumed the Earth was flat, the liklihood is you would have been one of them. And it seems it's not.
  12. Does anyone know if they still do tests as this thread is quite old? I think I read that 'no' was the case.
  13. Hi Oracle........how many times did England beat Australia in a row?
  14. How do you blame BFS for WH not winning today? The season is only half way over and I saw a team who gave everything they had.
  15. I did some swotting on this, as though City are the obvious choice they haven't been that good away from home. They have played each of the other top 8 teams once. Results, 6 wins, 1 defeat. The only defeat was the only game they played away from home. So they have 6 'top 8' away games to come. Contrast that to Liverpool and Chelsea, who have only played 1 home game each and thus have 6 more to come. Also given that Liverpool have no CL distractions, are good at home and do pick up points on the road, I'll plump for them. I wouldn't bet on it though.

  18. You too Blue. Here's hoping that in 2014 you get stuffed at OT and maybe even Wemberley.
  19. Fer fecks sake. Been giving up the evil weed but weakened today and decided to sneak out and buy 10. No notes in my wallet (amazing how much less you go to an ATM). So opened the tin box. Excellent, there are some golden ones in there. I won't be humiliated by carrying in a box of 5p's. I pick the obvious ones and dig a bit further for more. You know what I get? A feckin Australian Dollar. It's from 2007. I haven't been there for nearly 20 years. Is this a new scam or am I just falling for it more often?
  20. I'm a veggie but cooking tomorrow for a few nons. The Mrs bought the above. Seasoned. What happens next? Any tips to help avoid this creature (partial) being wasted would be appreciated. I've tried the web but everything seems complicated. Anything easy? Thanks.

    turkeys

On the subject and given I'm a veggie, how do I cook a turkey thigh? It's already seasoned according to the packaging. Tried the web but everything seemed complicated. Anyone got a simple way of doing it?
  22. I really enjoyed that. Cheered me right up.

I still keep hearing this offer of a 'free' bet on the radio. How are you doing ????'s?
  24. Maybe they should swap?
  25. I don't make the rules. This tread is now in the Lounge, presumably as it's not ED specific.
