I'm surprised you were impressed with United Mr.Lush. For the most part they lacked a cutting edge.Some of their passing was good though. I wasn't much impressed by Spurs either.

Would WH fans have Defoe back? He needs to play and might be an option. From what I read Nolan is not playing as he did last season and he was very influental and scored goals. I do think you Hammers fans protest too much about BFS. He got you promoted and his main aim is to keep you in the division.When you make some money and can buy better players get a better manager if you can. The jobspan of a football manager is not very long on average due to unreasonable expectations in some cases.BFS has done ok.I don't understand the hatred of him.

Given that United weren't great last season for the most part and still walked the league, I wonder what a change of manager will bring? I reckon the Fergie effect is the only explanation for an ordinary team winning it. I still don't see them being out of it this year as the Arse will probably rue a too small squad, Chelsea are hit and miss and will probably sack their manager while Man City get homesickness on their travels. Spurs still have time to gel and Liverpool/Everton could last the course. May be close though best football being played by the Arse and City at the moment.

I never finished this and probably never will as it will probably never end. Once the Golden Child went on holiday I was to discover that his fiddling amounted to a lot more than some petty cash. Since then Bob who was in a completly different role was dismissed for long term fiddling only to be replaced by the part Russian, Boris. He is in charge of a lot of temporary low paid factory workers mostly from Eastern Europe and was found to be charging them a 'fee' so that he would continue to give them work. This was even secretly taped by some workers and presented to Cecil with the new girl Andrea who speaks Russian acting as translator. In spite of the evidence Boris is still there. By the way Sharon thinks Andrea used to be an Andrew though I have to admit she looks good to me. Stretch meanwhile continues to unfortunately have the wrong computers etc delivered which mysteriously get collected/returned by someone we never see. He's in charge of the purchase ledger and pays the bills. He very kindly gave GC a great reference for his new job. I have a 'permanent' job there since GC lost his which is good in a way. However, I think I must get something else to protect what remains of my sanity.

Ha. She just phoned me. Found her via a website another user had noticed too. Sent her my number and lo and behold it's my neighbour's daughter in law. The funniest thing is that the letters reveal information that she doesn't want the MIL to know.

Well that would be a stupid move. I remember Man U getting thumped 5-0 by Newcastle and 6-3 by Southampton and then lost at home to Chelsea in successive weeks. Still won the league though.
