Has anyone made a claim for a delayed/cancelled flight against a EU airline? My son is doing so and in EU law is entitled to the maximum 600 euros compensation. It calculated on distance and time. He sent them a 14 day email (i.e. pay up within 14 days). They initially responded but nothing since and it's probably getting on to 4 weeks since he contacted them. Just wondered if anyone has gone this route and how long it took to get an outcome? There are law firms who will act on your behalf for 25%.

My son has been investigating and concluded that locally it's either too expensive (Leisure Centre) or dosn't have the equipment he wants to use (Dulwich Hamlet). Well actualy when Ronaldo came to the PL he was not anywhere near the player he is now or was when he left the PL. He was younger than Ozil of course. But if Ozil was so good would Madrid let him go? Maybe they were trying to balance the books. As for anti Arsenal remarks you need to look at your own comments PD which highlighted MU's good fortune against Palace but no mention of the Arse's against Sunderland. What I dislike about football fans in general is that they are so one eyed about their club and even that is blinkered.

In the interest of balance PD should you not have mentioned the dodgy decision that denied Sunderland a goal yesterday instead of just having a pop at the Mancs? Both decisions were awful.

Given that was Ozil's first game in the PL, what's your point? Every player is 'unproven' in the PL before they have played a game if you think football in one league is so different to that in another.

No harm in starting somewhere though.
