  1. There are plenty of Indian's locally. I'm a veggie though not a vegan and I think the Thai Corner Cafe should fulfill your needs too. Edited to make sense
  2. Surely you can have something in an Indian which excludes meat, fish, dairy and egg?
  3. For someone who has lurked, old 'unlurked' has certainly come out all guns blazing. Makes me wonder given the lack of a shy disposition who you were in a previous lifetime?
  4. Oh, I've been exposed as a bully. I'd love to know where and when but I'm sure you will tell me.
  5. Away to Grays who have 4 wins out of 4. Top two at the moment.
  6. Oh, may as well...........100
  7. Of course..........
  8. I wonder does Andy3481 like playing hockey?
  9. Surely Geography No.2 Q.5 is more to do with history than geography.I like the English composition options. Quite a variety. Are exams anything like this now?
  10. I'm not sure what you expect from SE22 unlurked. I don't often read it but when I do I see it provides information as to what's happening in ED which for some people may be very useful. Full of ads from the same companies.......jeez grow up. It's a free magazine which exists because of adverts. Those people who advertise choose to because they consider it worth it. I don't think I have ever heard of a complaint about any magazine because the adverts are always the same. This is ED not the whole of London.
  11. Now who is Glen Campbell..............surely a points deduction RD?
  12. I'd like to know DD why you might even think ED needs a credible magazine? It doesn't.
  13. Come back H is all I say. Never annoyed me at all as he was way above my head most of the time. One of the few people whose posts were consistently interesting.
  14. Don't know of one though I do seem to remember someone trying to organise a game of boules in the distant past. I have thought (and this is from memory) that the area in Dulwich Park where there is/was a sandy stretch between the grass and the road would be ok for boules. This would be on the far side of the park if you entered from Court Lane (I think it's called). Near where the crap tennis courts are as opposed to the newer ones.
  15. One thing I've noticed and probably everyone else has too is that you can amend your predictions for say Sunday and Monday even after Saturday's results.
  16. red devil Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I'm personally hoping come May, Ots will be in 2nd > place, 16 points behind Meds... I'm personally hoping come May that RD is 17 points ahead of Ots and after being reminded (by me of course) of Ots long lost 17 points will find a rule that declares RD the winner ....... ETA Naturally I'll object on some obscure grounds and be ridiculed by RD & JL.

  18. Thanks Cassius. Heard from him right after he landed back in Bangkok.
  19. You know what they say Otta, 'the league table never lies' come the end of the season. I suspect come May your +17 will be long forgotten about. Hopefully you will either be top of the league or so far behind it won't matter.
  20. I though it was speed, though my gaming son has educated me about ping and recently introduced another concept to me which restricts his gaming enjoyment. As he isn't here at the moment I can't ask him to remind me but what sticks in my mind is the word 'wobbles'. Is there a technical term that sounds like that?

The very concept that a small, not very pretty place like ED, has a requirement for its own magazine, has got to be evidence that the place or people in it have lost the plot. Buy a newspaper. There's plenty to choose from.
  22. *gasps*
  23. Domestic but not international? Is that what you mean KK?
  24. Now speaking of Burma/Myanmar, son has been there a week and not a word from him. In Thailand he was in contact quite often particularly as he had a motor bike accident and ended up in a hospital for the second time in two months (last time was in France where he sliced the bottom of his foot open). Am I right in thinking that communications by mobile are next to impossible in Myanmar. His mum is stressed out not having heard from him. Anyone know if this is the case?
  25. Still one more game!
