  1. I've recently been given a new toy for a birthday. I'm enjoying it as it will play music I know from years ago on instruction. However, I can remember when growing up my parents would not have been interested in what I listened to as they already knew enough from their generation to keep them happy. Alas I stopped buying music or even listening to new stuff probably 30 years ago. A bit like my parents really. So I'm asking for suggestions as to what to try that I may have missed out on. I like all sorts of music (I think), though some of the terminology may have escaped me in terms of categories. So would you kindly suggest one song/piece I should try? I'll let you know what I think (assuming I can access it). Can't be too obscure.
  2. The halfway point... Points Scoreboard
  3. Lukaku is that type of player but for some reason I'm not convinced by him. Whoever is on Jose's list will do for me. I see Everton have signed Klassen!

  6. A few months ago I was getting off the train in ED behind a guy with a bike.I noticed as he hopped onto the bike, there were a couple of rats on his shoulders. Seemed very happy there. Have you considered treating him as a pet Fox?

Regardless of what Northern Ireland is or isn't, I would suggest that the government would be happy to be rid of it if it could. Except in circumstances such as now.

This situation should be very worrying for the country. The Conservatives should not be putting party before country which is what they are doing by using the DUP to try and keep them in government. I wonder if the government of the Republic will have anything to say on that subject as it appears to ignore everything the GFA was built on. This interview with Alistair Campbell is worth watching.
  15. This is the team for the 1st test as selected by Ian McGeechan and Luke Fitzgerald.
  16. Results after Round 3.

The government aligning itself with a party in Northern Ireland is plain wrong. How can they play the role of a neutral referee?
  19. Would be nice to see some Lions tries
  20. This is a large shop in Lewisham. I only drive there so you would need to check out transport links. http://supremeanimalfoods.co.uk/

    The new arrangement...
  22. Yeah, I know what you mean. Crusaders are the top team in NZ. Unbeaten at home this season. Lions playing an almost entirely new team again. Everyone will have had a start by tomorrow. I think midweek / Saturday teams will become apparent after this game.
  23. She wouldn't have gone to the Palace to resign?

'Ol Boris was very evasive when asked if he still supported May. "It's early days yet" probably translates into No.
