  1. Ah, Tim Horan. I remember in the early 90's before rugby was professional travelling from Brisbane with the Queensland team on board. They were on their way to the Super 10(?) final in South Africa. All the players including Tim were at the rear of the plane. I was lucky enough to sit next to two of them, Peter Slattery and Garrick Morgan. They were drinking beers all the way to whereever it was we had to change flights. Having struck up a conversation with them soon after lift off, they plied me with drink every time they were having another one. Anyway, back to Tim. I vaguely remember Slattery telling me that Tim was either dim/mad/or something else. This extract from a book had a story by Michael Lynagh when he introduced Tim to Venice. It sort of confirms it..... https://books.google.co.uk/books?id=Rvfa5F9bHv4C&pg=PT179&lpg=PT179&dq=tim+horan+on+venice&source=bl&ots=fDmuwmZc_D&sig=NIM-AIT-41QPFM68pSIK8ZQbp6I&hl=en&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwiFiqjGmcnTAhVhIMAKHfwRBBkQ6AEIRDAD#v=onepage&q=tim%20horan%20on%20venice&f=false
  2. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RL_IHflsD1k Best individual try I've seen in a long time from last week-end. The new BOD maybe. Last angle in the clip is probably the best to appreciate it.

I'd say put all the major parties in. It might be more interesting doing it sooner rather than later. If I remember correctly people could change their vote. With this we might see swings over a period of time. Anyway, it's your baby. Thanks.

http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/read.php?20,1685726,page=1 Any chance of something similar for the GE Admin? There is a thread asking which way people will vote. Someone mentioned that any Conservatives or UKIPers in the area would probably avoid the thread. This would give people the chance to say something anonymously. PS Not that I would vote for either

Proportional representation you mean. Fairer system I think.

I saw May on TV at a rally over the week-end in somewhere town. She was awful. Just repeating the same mantra what seemed like a million times. JC wouldn't have to be very good to be better than her. Someone early in this thread predicted a very low turnout. I'd have thought the 48% of which I am one, would want to show they are still here by voting either Lib Dem or Labour.
  8. Lib Dem I expect. I liked Helen Hayes though when she knocked on the door a couple of months ago.
  9. At the week-end my brother suggested to me the following scenario re the attack on the Syrian airbase. Putin has something on Trump but Trump had to do something to show how strong America is and appear to stand up to Putin. Thus he warned Putin of the impending attack, who in turn warned Assad. This is why the damage to the base seems to have been negligible. Planes were flying out of it the next day. Soon afterwards Trump's son was declaring that the attack shows that Daddy isn't in league with Putin. Oh and by the way,Trump has/had shares in the company who makes the tomahawk missiles used in the attack. It's known he had before becoming President. Not known if he sold them. Share price went up after the attack. It all makes sense doesn't it?
  10. Well if Sexton doesn't last until the 1st Test he may well pick Farrell there.

They will be whatever they turn out to be. Where does credibility come into it?

  13. I'm sorry to see Ringrose and Zebo omitted. Suprised by Payne being included. I'd also have included Sean Cronin ahead of Rory Best. Still there will be some injury induced changes before they even leave for NZ I would bet.
  14. Quids has found his mojo again! More disappointing was that Boro decided to score a goal last night. I thought they didn't do goals.
  15. I'm pretty sure when applying for a Visa to India my Mrs had to prove she lived here for x number of years. So it was good to have kept proof of address for a period of time.

  17. What did you do that for Spurs. I was happy 😊 with 3-0 😒
  18. He managed to insult the people of Liverpool just before the anniversary of Hillsborough today. The Sun let it go initially. Hardly seems like a mistake on their part but possibly deliberate.
  19. It's difficult to believe this 'story' ever went to print....... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/39603942
  20. I was at the Brighton reply, the Everton one and the Palace replay. The Everton one was fantastic due mostly to a great winning goal and memorable for the first player ever to be sent off in a Final I think. I also had the pleasure of going to the Coventry cup final with my Spurs supporting brother. Hehe.
  21. Just wait till United go shopping at the Lane..........
  22. You know that doesn't count Red. More like sabotage :)

Jah is hitting form with those correct results he wasn't getting earlier. Just to check how good a lead you have Red, I looked back at this time last year (313 games gone) Fox was leading with scores of 30 Results 116 Outcomes 167 Incorrect & 206 points. The eventual winner PD was 9 points behind and you were 10 behind. So I guess it's still an open race on the table. I'm worried though that I'm overthinking predictions now. Changing them regularly. The pressure is getting too much..........
  24. Auld Claudio has now conceded the last 7 shots on target against him. On goalkeepers, was de Gea dropped yesterday? Some sort of problem........
  25. What's worse is I had a bet that both teams would score, so I was hoping Sunderland would get a consolation.
