How about a United Kingdom of Ireland (North & South), Scotland & London?

It wasn't football predictions fox, it was how would you vote. No one 'got it wrong'.

I don't know why you are so interested in commenting about it when you are bored of the subject. We can't all be as entertaining as you.........

That was fun. What a lobsided draw in the last 16. Most peoples potential winners on one side. Makes it interesting. If karma exists it may look favourably on Ireland when they play France.

GSTH is pretty crap but the Scottish and Irish anthems aren't much good either. I have never seen a team get quite so wound up as Argentina during their anthem on Monday prior to the U20 RWC Semi Final v Ireland. Some of them looked scary. Thankfully we stuffed them by 30 points......have a look. http://www.worldrugby.org/u20/video/171497

Great thread. OP makes a valid point. Next poster doesn't bother to read it properly. And it all kicks off. If anyone does not agree that children need to be taught manners then explain why.

Happy father's day to me. But really it is a con. I've never been the recipient of any FD gifts/cards and I don't particularly want them. I have a birthday and there's Christmas. That's plenty to show they care.

My view for what it's worth is that neither side actually know what the long term outcome for this country will be. Why I will vote to remain is because we are children of the world, not the UK. The EU may need reforming but better to try and do that than isolate the country from our fellow human beings. It's simplistic, but I don't believe politicians for the most part. Maybe we would all like to be better off, but have a look around and see how much better off we are already than most people in the world. It's a small planet. We don't own it, we are visitors. Meanwhile the debate will continue. If the politicians we listen to really knew the future, there would never be a change in government. We vote them in and invariably they fail and we vote them out.

Anyone lose Virgin broadband and TV in CP Road area? First time it's happened to us in a long time.

This was nice given the awful circumstances. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2016/jun/14/euro-2016-republic-of-ireland-fans-solidarity-northern-ireland-fan

A colleague was telling me that his friend is over there and for the most part everyone is having a ball. Plenty of mingling of different nationalities. Obviously the press/TV like to highlight the problems.

It's become part of my morning routine now to look at the national rail app on my phone before leaving. Why the excuse always appears to be 'staff sickness' makes you wonder what da feck is going on. Is there a rota? -
Man U did have a generation of indifference. Ipswich did have some good seasons. Were you on the sauce when you wrote that?
-
You saw that cartoon too root? Very valid point.

That advice doesn't make sense.

UEFA have threatened to expel either team from last night's game if there is any more trouble from fans. I can understand how the French authorities have a lot to deal with due to non football matters so can anyone complain? A lot to take in but will anyone do that? I hope the message is taken on board by anyone concerned though last night's trouble in the stadium is universally reported here as being caused by Russian fans.

My wish for England is that Woy uses the resources he has available to achieve the best possible outcome. He doesn't have to pick the best players playing out of their club positions, but the best team. Not that I'm saying I know that. It's more important he does. Also, to those England fans who can't hold a drink and cause trouble. Go home and stop shaming the good people of this country.

Cinema Paradiso is my all time favourite (the Directors cut). The Sound of Music is up there too.

I always saw his name like that too Azira since he mentioned his bathing habits.
-
What do you think he meant?
-
Wasn't that because you told us you only showered or had a bath twice a year?
