    If they havent taken a photo of your car and only have the Parking Attendants record to go on - they cant fine you because they cant find you! Happened to me many years ago. Got a ticket on the car window, reg was wrong, never heard anything from them.

    Fun times at the Mirash. Eight of us plus Katie's invisible friend who has to have his own chair and his own place set for him. He has enormous brassicas apparently. I cant confirm as I cant see him.

    OK. Swift change of plan. A move to Monday 12/12 Some folk cant do the 8th and Monday evening is usually a free-er night. After that we go into the social whirlwind that is Christmas. At the Mirash ....

    Now, I think that they should only be allowed orchestral music, if the orchestra is actually there. How cool would that me? Watching Killer Whales hunting the seal, with a full orchestra squatting on the nearest ice-flow.     There was a table chained to the railings by ED station this morning. See, a cafe and a chained table.

    Pish and tush. ED station has Blackbird Bakery to buy proper coffee and all sorts of fresh baked pastries and other toothsome delicacies. That the mighty Carnell, in his tweeds and plus-fours is not a regular traveller through our fine station is a matter of regret to many fertile maidens of this Parish.

    Lovely Bhajis indeed Mrs Cat. I have to say I was not surpised by the quality of the food (always good) but was pleasently surprised by the price. I havent used TN much as I understood it to be more expensive than the rest. However, that wasnt our experience, Tandoori Nights goes on the list of "favourites" of the Curry Club I think. What do peopel think about the December date? Thursday 8th December.

    A marvelous evening with Legalbeagle, Allycat,Sister Christer, Sir Grooveland, Floating Onion, Brum and me. Good food AND at ?23 per head (pops, starters, mains, sides, rice, nans, beers all round, mints and then free drinkie) it did rather challenge the idea that Tandoori Nights is more expensive than the competition. Next CC meet is early December (8th?), the pre-Xmas meet, by tradition at the Mirash.
