  1. Given the public funding cut backs it could be that there will be alot more public poo-age required. Although pooing on the footpath is a bit rum. Having a dump on one of the flower borders would have been less unsightly and would have provided nutrients to the plants.
  2. I got Spotted Dick on the back seat of the number 12.
  3. As in Biltong?
  4. South Africans who saw the light Brenda.
  5. Proper Sport Enough of the soccer-ball twaddle. Put your minds to something useful like world peace or saving whales. That a bunch of thick necked, over paid idiots didnt win the Soccer World Cup isnt a surprise is it? That lower paid, intelligent cricketers beat the Aussies is also a surprise and a pleasent one at that. Follow sports that have finesse, true skill and require intelligence and physical bravery - cricket and rugby. Sports that are not driven by money, where the players have commitment and integrity and supporters have a proper perspective on life.
  6. They feed putside my living room window every summer evening. Very cool. Having said that, my mate can watch bat feeding outside his living room window every summer evening. Cooler.
  7. .. and me - or similar. Thankfully the cab drivers have stopped parking under my bedroom window at 4am and having shouty conversations with each other.
  8. markyb3 Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I'd say the helicopters beat the foxes ... If we are playing "Urban Noise" Top Trumps - what about the prat who thunders about on the super-noisy moped? Eh?
  9. Simply a couple of empty crisp packets blown into the road and run over. Shame.
  10. Marabou Stalks - arent they chocolate straws? Feral ones would be fine in the winter, but not in the summer. They would melt.
  11. 23 year old girls? Flight young things obsessed by shoes, puppies, kittens and sparkly things. Give me your older bird anyday; plenty of experience and grateful. ;-)
  12. "I think I posted this before, the plan is to have a gate line very similar to Waterloo, ie one straight run of gates and there will be additional gates to accomodate the increase in passenger numbers" Thats great Barry - but what about Krispy Kreme Donut question?
  13. HPY BDY Mucky! X
  14. Free Beers and Pizzas and TV on in the Training Room.
  15. Its the East Dulwich Road Alcemist. Every so often he puts in a little too much of the philosophers stone and BOOM!!! Poor sod staggers into the road, covered in soot, star covered gown and pointy hat shredded and smoking. Quick half in the Gowlett; then its back to the cauldron.....
  16. Does anybody have recipe for Green Parakeet?
  17. The vibe changed because people stopped turning up. It was decided that something once a quarter would be more attractive with an impromptue one on a summer weekend.
  18. I agree SCSB79. It was a public report following a lengthy public investigation. It is possible to debate and even critique the findings and possible impact with respect and decency. This is democracy in action, it is uncomfortable at times for all concerned, but it is nescessary. There are those, on both sides of the debate, for whom the report is NOT the last word - either because they agree with the findings and want to see further action or because they do not agree with the findings. We should, we must be allowed to discuss this.
  19. An interesting conundrum. The end of the Troubles saw murderers from both sides released early - some of them after having served very short sentences. So, if court cases are brought against former soldiers and they are found guilty, what happens? They get put away for life when terrorists (or freedom fighters - depending on your perspective) convicted of murder, have been set free? Having said that, the evidence required by a public enquiry is rather different from that required by a court, whether criminal or civil. After so much time and publicity, it is difficult to see how specific eye witness evidence could be seen as being beyond reasonable doubt.
  20. This isour very own Fight Club thread.
  21. I dont like soccer-ball, trust me on this.
  22. A revengers tragedy in the making.
  23. On the up side, it was a great time to do B&Q and Asda - both were very quiet.
