  1. With not many cousins close by, it would be lovely for my little girl to have some friends to celebrate Eid etc with. I have been living in Dulwich since day dot and so has hubby however our friends have not caught up with us with the kids thing! Look forward to hearing from you!
  2. I think I have pulled the seat out.. will re check. Its when she has her pram suit on is when I had the prob.. Thank you :-)
  3. Any bugaboo bee plus owners please tell me how to adjust the harness, it is the clip bit at the bottom that is the problem. As it is cold my LO has her winter coat on and foot muff underneath and today I had the nightmare of not being able to strap her in! HELP!!. PS she is no way a big baby, a very petite 6 months.

  5. Any comments on damage?! Did any of you guys buy the travel bag ( I do not want to). My only other concern is my poor little bee being thrown around :-(
  6. Oh that is fantastic news!! I think my husband would have had a heart attack if I said we needed another one!! ( The bee was purchased after it did not work out with a Quinny!!)Thank you so much.
  7. Planning the first holiday with the baby, wanted to know if anyone has actually travelled with their Bugaboo Bee on a plane? If you have did you have to check it in with baggage or was it taken to plane doors? I have seen lots of posts about good light strollers to take on traves but to save some money would like to get away with the bee ( if possible and practical) Look forward to your responses!
  8. I also saw police officers/pcso's walk twice down my road which is reassuring ( crystal palace rd).
  9. Hi fellow parent/s, My little lady needs constant entertainment, she has got the Lottie playmat ( which I think i like more) but it does nothing for my little one even though it cost ?65!! Any recommendations on a good playmat and gym?
  10. Please please please please dog owners, be considerate and stop your dog from pooing on the pavement ( namely Crystal Palace Road). Thanks
  11. Everyone I know who formula feeds uses the powder version... What version do you use? I ask because after a short stint in special care baby unit where they use pre made formula in cartons I discovered 1 litre bottles of formula ( use within 48 hours). I did the maths and the 1 litre bottles are much more cost effective and you get more for your money. Of course it is not suitable if you are on the go and during night feeds.
  12. I feel very stupid for asking this given that I was born, brought up, schooled, married within Dulwich all my life- SE22 forever!. Now that I have got my own I guess its time to think about schools- what's the best and what to avoid?? I went to Bessemmer Grange but that is too far for me ( I live on Crystal Palace Rd) so I guess its either Goodrich or Heber? Please let me know of your views!
  13. Bee all the way! Got the cocoon so it is suitable from birth, I am totally crap folding stuff etc but the Bee is sooooo easy!! Only prob is, it is very common but who cares!!
  14. WOW just seen this an I thought I was the only one planning a 1st bday party already!! ( my little girl is 3 months old!!). Please let me know if you do find a company who does a marquee with a princess/fairy theme :-) As for bouncy castle my husband just hired one this weekend for my birthday ( to keeps nieces and nephew busy) and it was a nice big one for ?45- BARGAIN!! Will add details tomorrow.
  15. For some time now and every so often, there is bottles of some yellow substance lined up at on the pavement or electric box where Crawthew and Worlingham meet. Last week saw it on Crystal Palace Road- anybody any ideas what it is? It looks like apple juice or urine- either way someone help curious me!!
  16. Just noticed this thread, was walking down/up Lordship Lane yesterday and saw police questioning 3 boys-2 had bikes. For the warm weather they were pretty dressed up ( coats, hoods etc). One police man was also 'undercover'. Was reassuring to see that cos only last month in Nerro did a hysterical young lady come in petrified because she was just mugged. Hopefully there are more police walking the streets.
  17. New Mum so please bear with me! Bugaboo Bee is on it's way to me and I have also purchased a cocoon. Do I need a seat liner to go with this? Also in the process of ordering a customised footmuff- again do I need a liner for this? Has anybody also used the organiser while it is parent facing? I am loving the idea of not carrying aroung baby bag just to pop to baby clinic or Lordship Lane. Look forward to reponses! Thanking you in advance. Sellena
  18. Certainly would make my life easier now that I use it more! Any thoughts?
