  1. Do you think the thumb guard would work for my 19 month old? her thumb is a sorry state!
  2. Just purchased the above, it flaps down and scrunches up where my daughters lower back is- any suggestions on keeping it in one place on the seat? Has anyone had the same problem? John lewis pretty much gave me a big standard answer saying it was a universal product.
  3. Late feedback, but Steve & Co came and tidied up my very overgrown unloved garden and also trimmed my hedge- ( I was being fussy and Steve went back twice to trim it to my liking). Will use services again.
  4. Just need the front and back tidied up, but I have no lawn mower! Please PM me.
  5. I took my Bee to Abu Dhabi and back- no problems what so ever. It reassuring to have your usual day to day buggy with you.

  8. Trying to get my little madam to use sippy cup. So far tommee tippee- spout to hard. Just had some Dr Browns soft spout sippy cup delivered, bit fiddly in terms of washing the different buts and it seems a bit of a chore to suck. Would like one with a lid too... Any recommendations?
  9. In that case milk cartons are not going on with us!! Worse case scenario there might be some on sale on the other side of security. I brought a sling as soon as I booked the flight, it is just one flight so I am hoping all goes well. Skycot booked and confirmed! Thank you so much!

  11. Hello!! As the subject line says ^ 7 hour flight, London-Abu Dhabi She doesn't use a dummy... Hotel has already been accomodating with bottle sterilising, high chair in the suite etc Ready made cartons or powder milk? I use the 1 litre bottles at home and powder for early morning feed and to mix up food. Food wise I know what I am doing... Any tips or things not to forget?!! Look forward to your wise words! 12. I would def go with the video monitor, my LO does not cry when she wakes up and will just lie there so having the video one is really helpful. My kitchen is in the basement and our bedroom 4 floors up and the Lindham video monitor covers us only cuts out when the microwave is on. The breathing monitors are not my thing, my baby was is special care or 4 days and the bleeding thing in the hospital went off all the time freaking me out... it also brins back bad memories so wasnt a option!
  13. Agree!! I was born and brought up in Dulwich currently living/caring for elderly father in law but when we eventually want our own family home it will be impossible :-( unless of course i win the lottery
  14. Hi Pickle, Thanks for your reply. In the morning, I make up her milk and she refuses out right.. but if i sit her in her high chair and she watched me make up breakfast then the chewing starts! About an hour or two after breaky she gets tired and I manager to get a small feed down. Lunch is new this week, with both lunch and dinner I usually get her when she is not super hungry or full. I will try the bottle then food. Thanks again. Sellena
  15. Hello all, I start weaning my daughter just before 5 month after checking with the HV ( i felt she was ready) so far really good. The only I worry I have is that her milk take has decreased dramatically... She seems to be more happy with meals rather than milk. The only time I can get a good amount of milk down her is at night. I know babies drop feeds once they are on solids but to this extent? I have got it in my head that it is important that during these months milk is really important, more than solids but she seems to prefer solids much more. Just to note, her breakfast cereal is made up with milk and her rice which she also has with pureed veg is also mixed with her milk.. Anyone else had similair experiences? Will speak to HV at next visit but justr wanted some first hand thoughts and comments. Sellena
  16. Salam, A bit late, there is a organisation called Southwark Muslim Womens Association (SMWA). I used to go when I was little, apparently it is still active... We had our first Eid in the park which was ok. Hope this helps. Sellena
  17. Def recommend, pre birth I brought the Quinny but it did not work our for me, to heavy etc. Brought the Bugaboo Bee plus and have never looked back. Easy to fold up etc, lightweight ( i have stairs leading up to my house), easy to move around, nice small wheels means it does not catch in dooror round corners etc. I used it with the cocoon and madam seemed very happy. She was about a couple months old when we put her in the cocoon and it was fine.
  18. Ikeas, my SIL got some for her kiddies party and still uses them in the garden, this was a couple nof years ago though.
  19. LOL, mine does her poo in her vibrating bouncer chair.. usually while I am eating lunch or dinner. Love the jumperoo though!
