After OD'ing on the World Cup this summer I decided not to renew the Virgin Sky Sports add on until nearer Xmas time. It's been good following the football old skool stylee. A female reading out the results sounds odd though ;-)...

That was some penalty shoot out at Anfield last night, it was nail biting stuff even following it on the BBC live text feed...

We're just shite at the moment. I'll let you know when we hit royally shite...

I'm not saying your view on BFS isn't constant, it is. And I'm pretty sure that view is that any success WH have is in spite of BFS, not because of him...true? If not, what do you give him credit for? Does he get credit for keeping you up last season, and what about the previous season when you won promotion? My defence of BFS started when you and other WH fans wanted him sacked in January. My argument was that you should keep him as he would give you the best chance of staying up. Staying in the PL was/is very important with the stadium move looming up...Pragmatism > Academy idealism if you like. Look at Fulham now, could easily have been WH if you'd sacked him...

Yes I do realise that was your take on BFS's view of the world. The point I was making was that your personal view on BFS is cut from the same cloth...you could be twins! :)

Dry rot, wet rot - How to tell the difference?
red devil replied to Alan Medic's topic in The Lounge
http://www.timberwise.co.uk/2013/04/identifying-the-differences-between-wet-rot-and-dry-rot/ My educated guess would be that external windows are far more likely to suffer from wet rot... -
I worked out yesterday that along with yourself EP, 16 people got the correct West Ham scoreline...it was a slow day :)

After the dirge served up last season it's good to see a Utd team playing with attacking flair again. Defensively we're boggin', and that will take time and probably another transfer window or two to put right. LVG and most of the new players will also need time to adapt to the 'nuances' of the PL, I bet none of them have ever been involved in a game like that before. > Pellegrini is looking less and less agreeable with > each game this season isn't he? He's definitely losing his urbane charm and getting more chippy, but to be fair he's under a lot of pressure, had they not won the PL I think he might even have been sacked, and this season it sounds like the owners are expecting much greater things in the CL...

It's not the Hipsters fault. You do realise that you can't Hoola Hoop and help carry a push chair up a flight of stairs at the same time, don't you?...
