I think it goes a bit deeper than recent poor results, wasn't there talk in pre-season of ML leaving over transfer policy? Still a shocker though. I thought during Utd's FA Cup game with Swansea, how much more at home ML looked in the OT dugout than Moyes...just an observation, not a criticism...for now

Too big a gap imo. With City and Chelsea playing each other, Liverpool could also close the gap on one or both of them. I still think Liverpool will have a big say in who does/doesn't win the League, as they have to play the top 3 at home, where their record is very good...

All sorted thanks. It appears to be a browser issue. The Tele asked me what browser I use, so before replying I closed my usual browser IE9, and opened up Safari, and everything was ok. The problem was that when I clicked on the prediction tabs in IE9 nothing was happening. In Safari they turn dark blue, confirming my selections...
