  1. Is your glass half empty today Reg?..
  2. That's a tough draw Mick, Arse should be a sinch though...
  3. I got 20's after the first round, now available at 9's, he started well last week in the Scottish and then faded badly...
  4. Hypnotic Gaze 3rd @ 9/2... Reg, weather might be the deciding factor for the 2nd test, go for the draw @ 14/5...
  5. Goosen looking good, Watson as well but I'm sure he'll drop back unless they slip something into his Horlicks... Was given this tip today, Hypnotic Gaze in the 8.05 at Ponte, stable in good form, odds suggest EW...
  6. Weather has turned and is only going to get worse, so after today we should get a good idea of who will make a serious challenge over the final two days. Goosen in a good position. I think Woods could struggle if his game doesn't pick up, yesterday the conditions were forgiving, no room for error today!..
  7. Thanks Matthew, I will check it out later...
  8. he's just made a birdie at 17, -5, way to go Tom!

  10. I thought it was strange that I hadn't had any recent sightings of Britain's smallest bird, the Goldcrest, but this article explains why... Goldcrest...
  11. Mick Mac Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > This weeks New Entries on the shopping trolley > were: > > Branstons Mustard Relish > Salsa Relish > Pickled Silverskin onions > Garlic and coriander couscous > > No biscuits :( Mick, do you ever get the feeling you've not been invited to a party?..
  12. I have it on good authority that Tone is taking time out to contemplate on whether to be a character witness for Neil Lewington*... *crap Northerner joke
  13. Has an Arctic Roll appeared yet Mick?, certain grounds for a divorce...
  14. Have you ever been to watch the Open Quids, only once for me, the Paul Laurie win at Carnoustie (just Googled it to find out it was 10 years ago!) I'll never forget though Jean van de Velde having to go in the water on the 18th and blowing a 3 stroke lead...
  15. Very funny indeed Wolfie, what the world needs now is...more sideways glances; that's my cue, I'm off out tomorrow night up the Lane to see how long it takes before I get arrested...

  18. Has anybody on this cerebral thread partaken in a newspaper Fantasy Football league? I know with the Telegraph it's possible to set up your own separate mini league with friends, even virtual ones, has it been done before on here?..
  19. http://www.residentadvisor.net/images/profiles/robdabank.jpg 'ave it...
  20. Not sure, Mick's strategy of waiting until the first two rounds are over might be advisable if the weather's going to blow, but then again if you want value...got a feeling an outsider or 'local hero' might take it, bit like Paul Laurie(?) at Carnoustie...Goosen EW to start off with though methinks...
  21. Weather usually plays a part, rain/wind forecast Thurs and Fri, sunnier Sat & Sun...
