If you don't fancy doing the job yourself I'd really recommend a guy called Dylan (07990 740450). His finish is fantastic and he's a nice guy to deal with. Takes the stress out of it!

You might not need the flue lined. I didn't, hence the saving. Some installers will want to tell you that you need one, so that they can do the work. I'd really recommend RPS (number above), at least as a second opinion.

Dennis quoted for me too but Richard and Paul ended up being about a third of the price. They installed my woodburner a couple of months ago for less than ?300 if I remember rightly. Dennis wanted about ?850. By the way I'd really recommend an Aga Ludlow stove if you're still looking. Very easy to control and the glass stays clean. They do a smoke exempt one for about ?800. As Huggers said, look at whatstove.co.uk.

Two guys called Richard and Paul operate under the name of RPS, and they're fantastic. I've had a couple of fires fitted before and these two did by far the best job and were easily the best value too. Richard is on 07773 013713. They're mentioned on a few other threads here too.
