I've heard some very strange routes given on here but the A2 to get top the A3 is about the funniest ever! Almost opposite directions and miles more!! Personally I think you're just as likely to hit traffic going down the A23 route so you may as well as go the straightest route South Circyular to Wandsworth (or maybe Vauxhall/Battersa to Wandsworth)may hit traffic and often do but as I said this is as likely on A23 route too.

The bloke's and excellent manager but old school dodgy. West Ham fans still aren't happy that he persuaded Rio to go to Leeds, when he (Rio) was still happy at West Ham who had the best youth team in the country by miles at that point and could have built something, for a lot of money which he then largely spent on Fat Fringe players at Liverpool many of whom were represented by his agent son (Mark?)...and maybe another Snooker room at sandbanks. Spuds will be happy with him as they love their managers dodgy (*cough El Tel).

The question is irrelevant IMO Without the cuts we'd have at best lost our dirt cheap interest rates on our huge debts that our AAA and Bond Yields are currently giving us...at worst we'd have had a fully blown Sovreaighn Debt Crisis. The cuts were needed and quickly there wasn't really a 'not as fast not as deep alternative' imo Events such as the Euro crisis have derialed alot of growth, i'm not sure keeping VAT at 15%(?) and delaying the Cuts a year would have made sod all meaningful difference to growth and the effect on the generally held market belief that we are going to deal with our debts could have been undermined with cartastrophic effect. There is no getting round the shite we're going to face for a few more years yet. Most of the sensible voters know this which has meant that Even the two Eds realise this now. Sorry folks, no magic wand out of this.

The TRILLIONS that would be needed aren't there, the car is here for the forseeable and darn convenient and handy it is too. Soooo before the idiots in Southwark Council try and destroy SE22's nice, relatively unique, retail environment for the sake of a short term money grab can they try and actually think for once (not holding my breath politicians generally have the vision of bats). Most people from SE5, SE21, SE6, SE24, etc who pop here for a browse in their cars will not be jumping on the 37, 63, 176 etc if they can't park, they'll go elsewhere and many retailers will close and vbe replaced by crap, (SEE PECKHAM?CAMBERWELL) Get some brains Southwark, get real car haters.
