Frank Lampard had the lease on the Victiria in Plastow and the players used to drink in there a lot and it was just a shitty back street boozer ( ICF pub too)
  2. "Village" inflation by idiot estate agents and developers means that it's hard to find any previous inner-london suburb sh!thole that isn't a "village"

  5. Well I didn't make the League in time but after the first round you can - A) see why we only had one northern hemisphere team in the WC semi-finals B) zzzzzzz - having problems finding the 6 nations very exciting in recent years. Technical, but poor technique and tactically tedious

The trendiness of Soul & Funk nowadays has me laughing away as in the late 70s it was so looked down on by the 'trendies'
  8. I remember back in '89 when things were simpler and the police a bit naiver, a sound system came straight from a rave on a Sunday and just set up on Clapham Common at 11am followed by car loads of Acieeed kids, and the party carried on all day. The Next week the police were there in force but was a fab one off :) :) :)

  11. I think you've been straightforward and honest and good luck but as robbin says, ultimately, this is a sales pitch so doesn't belong in this section
  12. Just an honest question OP but do you get a 'share' of any new sign ups and then a 'share' of any new sign ups that they get to these not free courses? I am a bit cynical about your 100% altruistic claims but I am a bit of a cynic
  13. It's not about eviction it's about doing a runner on the rent!

  23. The only bit they do better in Europe is tolerate it - kids are running about in restaurants and the streets until midnight in Italy and Spain just as noisily and out of control.
