  2. The amazing thing to me is he's still polling at 33% or so - I guess it shows the strength of the Labour brand (and the current state of the Tories) that a third would have him as our PM. I genuinely believe he'd be a fooking disaster for this country and will be voting accordingly if he's up front still at the next election, whereas last time i didn't bother.

I am amazed you're disappointed. He was and has always been a second rate old school left winger - I get people were frustrated, angry and wanted change but the messianic qualities they gave him were always laughable to me.
  4. Ho, he's just horribly unempathetic, and not much of startegist despite the reputation, which is normally the sighn of someone too clever by half :) David's hardly Brain of Britain though!
  5. ..the other thing I've come to see about good old Jezza is, nothing to do with his politics, but the bloke is a thick as two short planks!
  6. Of the two out of their depth left wing dinosaurs - I think Corbyn's the more decent human being, although I think this, the decency, is somewhat exaggerated judging by the company he keeps. I just hope and pray neither them gets anywhere near the reins of power. But you knew that :)

Do you think he'd have been banging on about how Beckenham was the new East Dulwich?

I think Spurs are going to be Champions.....and am tempted to put some more money on top of my existing bet
  13. the way to really solve it would be to make all tennis open (same for golf where this argument appears quite often) - but how many woman would then be in the top 10 or 100? So, to be frank, this looks like PC GONE MAD

He (klopp) also bought on Skirtel at half time for his first competitive match for a while, which didn't work out

BFS continues the trend of pullingupthe drawbridge at 1-0 and then gets late goals against hi. Happened to us all last season and Sunderland's last 2 matches.

They did a blatant "crushed and devalued", got caught out, generally got slagged off and then threatened legal action.

We wuz robbed....big time. Apparently there was a lot of trouble after our game today, I think it's sneaking back in a bit. Leicester just got to hold their nerves - they have got us to play though :)
  18. Just bizzarre Malambu.......
  19. 2 reasons for me. Threatening the forum legally rather than responding or ignoring criticism - the Greek place did this too, so as a matter of principle I wouldn't go; secondly, rather than explicitly saying don't come in with babies/prams just making it really clear you weren't welcome, was really unpleasant to have been there for a few years no problem and then when you had kids - it was like a passive aggressive 'fuck off' Couldn't be arsed with that. Not been in there for 10 years or so
  20. A moral and politically bankrupt budget - Osbourne will never be leader now I reckon. I am no fan of the left and generally support the overarching philosophy of reducing the defeceit but I don't want a tax cut whilst disabled people lose their benefits and I suspect that's how many, including conservatives feel. How did Osbourne think this made any sense at all on political grounds (let alone moral ones). It's a disaster for him and pretty bad for the conservatives.

West Ham have just had the request to increase the capacity of the OS to 60,000 as they have enough demand from season tickets alone; add in the number of exec boxes in there....we are coming for you, we are coming for you
