So BFS fans (Mick and the Dr)..Downing played on the wing again rather than in the centre of the diamond, the useless Nolan in the central position. Downing, possibly one of the players of the season to date, is ineffectual and not in the game like most of last season when he played out there, Nolan is useless and we are comprehensively beaten as I predicted. Since Nolan came back Sam has played him in that position and carroll upfront and our results are loses against all the big teams, some wins against the strugglers (Hull, Leicster), mainly from the second half when he's changed the formation, and some draws against average teams who our best formation and team should steamroll. When Nolan and Caroll were injured with Sakho and Valencia upfront and Downing in the middle we were fantastic. Useless dinosaur c*nt of a manager. Got a squad of players way beyond his ability and ambitions, i hope they don't renew his contract at the end of this season.

Hardly any blokes had both pierced, except trannies (am I allowed that word? I don't fookin know). Silver or gold Hoop/Hoop & cross or stud were the choices. At 30ish mine went. Unless you're Kieth Richard, it's a bit sad beyond 30 :(

Like quite a few others I quite like the moodey, not too media trained old bugger. I'd never trust a scot who didn't say they wanted England to lose for starters

  11. Snorks we know 90% of you Jocks are died in the wool commie's so we'd expect nothing less than an absolute certainty in the power of the state and intervention, even from an apparent free spirit as you.
  12. It's a 90% correlation with Britain's shittiest towns, that list.

Some of us aren't keen on Spurs and take a great deal of Schadenfraude(sp?) in their 'big club' delusion which grows funnier the longer they don't win any trophies. I loathe Chelsea but sadly they are going to win things whatever so let them pick up another, after all minor one, and keep the Spuds potless is my view PS Sorry Jah xx
  16. "aren't as funny," doesn't mean they were side spliitingly good before

  19. yup. But it was about the changing nature of the areas over time - and had several others (notting Hill, Bermondsey, Hornsey). Not a fly on the wall voyuer thing.
  20. If Louisa, Foxy, Snorks, Sue, DJKQ, Seabag and a few others all lived in the same street I'd be supportive

If we want to make housing more affordable and thus also bring rents down* you have to build a lot more houses (whoever builds them but the state is bust innit)...you don't have to be a Neo-Liberal, fascist, Milton Freedman worshipper to accept this, do you? Fook rent control, fook taxing foreigh owners (not opposed but won't solve the isse) just build more fooking homes *potentially busting many BTL scummers too as a bonus for you
  22. Londons pop trends http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demographics_of_London ernesto - let the market build on some of the greenbelt but the state/and nimby councils won't let them
  23. nope by 1989 the London was turning round - thanks to her that can't be named - I am talking eary 80s not '89, (so not within your 25 year point of reference) but the turnaround was started in the 80s and even the early '90s recession just dented it and it's carried on. It's not pish go and look at London population trends. Remeber squarts everywhere? hard to let council flats given to students etc etc? Did these things not happen? Anti-immigrant pieces/nratives are not a reflection of reality - but of bigotness, so to tie them up with some kind of meausre of the popularity of housing is a bit bizzarre?
  24. ...all my student places, and my contremporaries, were privately owned shitholes (often by the same two infamous brothers) across North London in places like Belsize Park, West Hampstead, Tuffnell Park, Queens Park, that would now be worth an absolute fortune
