  9. Well done to all concerned in the recent game between Doncaster and Middlesborough, nice displays of humanity and sensitivity all round. Take heed Tevez, Billy Sharp lost a son and still insisted on playing, at ?250,000 a week, do you think you might consider it?

  11. Bugger!!! Stoke getting battered and the goal scorer is a Potters reject!!! To make matters worse our Talisman Shawcross goes off injured. Oh the injustice of it all.

Good luck to Citeh, they've waited a long time to get this far.

Does my previous post not make it clear that I am a dyed in the wool Stoke fan? They are oft derided but not given enough credit for the grace and beauty they bring to the Premiership, which is a scandal. They are good, honest players that most teams would give their eye teeth to sign. Take Rory Delap for example. Who wouldn't want him in their side?

Yes Indeed, they are the Premier Leagues answer to the Famous Brazil National side of the early 70's. A real credit to sporting ideals and sporting beauty.

If one were to take your view to its logical conclusion, i.e. teams should "toughen up" in order to win tropies, then 95% of clubs in the Prem and the 3 leagues below that, would have to do likewise. I eagerly await more of your wisdom on all footballing matters.
