That's so sad, I often used to chat to her on the way past her house. What an amazing woman who showed so much love and dedication to her cats - she seemed totally fine a few days ago. Very sad news indeed.

Did anyone get Deptford Green? We've been allocated it and would like to know of any other ED kids going as my child doesn't know anyone going... I put it down as a last choice and didn't think about it!

Wasn't sure whether to post this but I had a weird experience earlier today...I was walking home with my 10 yr old son from school and got to the junction of Crystal Palace Rd/East Dulwich road. My son was a few paces ahead of me and when he stopped at the traffic lights he was approached by a man who said to him 'I'm looking for Crystal Palace Road, can you help me?' He didn't realise I was with my son and when I told him he was standing on Crystal Palace Road he mumbled something and pretended to walk up towards the Leisure Centre. After we crossed the road we looked back and he'd shuffled back to the lights. All a bit odd. Not sure if it warrants me reporting it. He clearly knew he was on CPR and just wanted to talk to my son.

Joseph helped me move a large item of furniture today - he dismantled it, did all the heavy lifting and put it all back together again...AND even did a detour to his flat to pick up extra screws that it needed. Great effort and brilliant value for money. Thank you!

Hi Can anyone recommend a good dyslexia tutor for a Year 5 child? I'm looking for a specialist in this area rather than Kumon or a general tutor. Please PM me if you can help. Many thanks.

Coffee there is the best in East Dulwich, utterly divine! Miles apart from other coffees I've had in the area.

Can anyone recommend a place to get consistently good coffee? I'm thinking latte of European or Australian quality - had one this morning in Blackbird Bakery that was so milky I had to bin it. I've had ok ones in there before though.

Fab new novel set in East Dulwich/Peckham

Sorry to be pedantic but it doesn't say she 'walked past the Bishop'. It says 'she looked up the road at Lordship Lane' and then described what she saw inc. people outside the Bishop....all very accurate!
