  1. Yes...really need more food options....and an ice cream stall!!
  2. If you're wanting them to go to the nursery there you apply directly to the school and I would do this now rather than waiting. They may (although it's unlikely due to oversubscription) get a part-time place from the term after their third birthday. At least then it's done and you're in the system. As said above primary applications are done centrally but nursery applications by each school. Two seperate systems.
  3. Just want to thank Mark for giving all the contact details to contact with opinions on this. It has kicked me into action and I will certainly be writing to give my support, as a mother, for maintaining a dog-free zone. I think that the pro-zone voices have probably been relatively quiet up until now as we gained a dog-free zone - something that was positive for us, whereas the dog-walkers had their area cut by half - something that would understandably cause friction. But it is a compromise.... Just as the dog-walkers want the whole park, how would they feel if we said we'd like the whole park dog-free? Just a thought. As for the fence...it's not great or subtle but not worth wasting money on now it's there....
  4. The man that runs the Albrighton Community Centre on the Estate is called Steve (I think he may be the Chairman of the residents association but that's a guess!). He's a very approachable man who does loads for the residents of the estate. It might be worth having a chat with him. They have a children's club on a Saturday morning where he's often around if you thought it worth popping in. Hope that helps.
