Peckham Rye Stay and Play stopping on a Friday morningEast2 replied to ZoeG's topic in The Family Room Discussion I am really disappointed as well. My toddler loved this session. His nap time is at lunch time so the afternoon sessions are no good for us. I know many other people agree as well. It's a really shame to lose this facility.

I'm a full time mum and pregnant with my 2nd. I was hoping to put my DS in a nursery for a couple of mornings a week but can seem to find any nurseries in ED that will do 1/2 days. Does anyone know any nurseries which do them, happy to travel slightly further if need be.thanksx

I totally agree with gillandjoe. I'm glad this has been written as I've been feeling incredibly lonely since having my son. It makes me feel better that I'm not the only one. It's a complete change in lifestyle as I used work 12 hours a day and now I'm a full time mum. Spending long periods of time in my own and some days barely speaking to anyone is hard. Most of my NCT group have gone back to work but my choice was really work and never see your child or be a full time mum so I took redundancy. I don't regret my decision but it can be very lonely. Old Freinds always seem to assume you are busy and if they've had time off and I didn't see them it upsets me. Making new friends is hard especially when quite often all you have in common is that you both have children! However I love being with my son and am sure it will be better eventually at least the sun us shining and we can spend lots if time outside.....x

Autumn babies club (due Sept/Oct/Nov 2013)East2 replied to woman_of_vigour's topic in The Family Room Discussion I was wondering if anyone could recommend a pregnancy yoga class. I have not done any yoga in a long time, so it needs to be quite an easy class, but feel I am ceasing up already... many thanks in advance...x

Does anyone have any recent experiences of the excel nursery on forest hill road. I've searched on the forum and there is nothing for the last year that I can find... I hoping to send my son to nursery later on this year before the arrival of no. 2..... Also was looking at Mother Goose on Upland road, does anyone have any opinions on either if these. Many thanks ...
