  1. I am pink therefore I am spam?
  2. 'outside your comfort-zone' I hate this because it suggests to me that if I don't try it I'm some sort of coward or stick-in-the-mud. Also, I hate 'pro-active' but I think it was because years ago someone who was really annoying used it and I kind of felt that to be pro-active you had to be able to deal with something before it had happened.
  3. Sorry gig girl, John Bonham's right foot is long dead (RIP) the best drummers use two feet on the kick drum
  4. I've changed my pattern of behaviour on account of this. My daughter would normally get a bus to the station at about 8pm but I am now driving her there. Thanks you brain dead muggers for increasing the pollution on the streets in more ways than one.
  5. I'm sure I read somewhere that although we are a smokeless zone and therefore should use the appropriate fuel we are allowed a Yule log!
  6. Some years ago I had a problem with a neighbour lighting bonfires in their garden during the day- not at the end of the garden but near our adjoining fence near the house. My daughter is asthmatic and was living with us so we had to keep all the windows closed (it was summer). This was crazy so we knocked on their door and asked if they would not do this and that they could have rubbish collected for free by the council. They seemed sympathetic but didn't put the fire out. So we wrote a very polite note with phone numbers etc for the collection service. Still the fires burned. I phoned the council-they sent someone round, spoke to the neighbours and gave us leaflet- a green leaflet entitled 'Bonfires'. The rules WERE -one bonfire, once a month at dusk and burning for one hour and only garden waste.Except for 5th November. This did the trick (except for the abuse we got from the neighbour) When we had that lovely spell of warm weather in March this year we called the environment team again for another long-burning horrible fire down the road. The person on the other end of the phone seemed to suggest that all those sensible rules in the leaflet had been relaxed- unfortunately. (There is no need to burn stuff get the Council to collect- it could be builders because they would have to pay to dispose of stuff)
  7. Is this an alternative to the Balm of Gilead?
  8. The Number of the Beast- Iron Maiden
  9. Every mugging and/or attack that has been perpetrated on my family members and their friends(and it amounts to many) in the area around Dulwich was carried out by groups of people of the same ethnicity, age and gender! Except for the evening a man exposed himself to my daughter and her friend at the end of Court Lane
  10. Ours just flashed on and off-not enouh to reset anything- CP road
  11. Hammer Smashed Face - Cannibal Corpse
  12. The bloke crying at Man City vs Swansea- just about sums up the mass hysteria
  13. Someone I know has tried several types and says to check out the reviews on you-tube. There is a man on there called Scott "igetcha69" and he reviewed lots of brands. A good place to start is the Tornado e cig. If you do get into it, the guy I know also says mix your own e liquid, it's far cheaper in the long run.
  14. Those last two pics are almost on a par with the two booby animals (I would have said boobies but that is a bona fide species)and the skipping girl in Goodrich Road. Someone should employ the man who does the very realistic 3-d work to cover up the Goodrich Road eye-sore.
  15. I think that people are disengaged because no matter who they vote for their actual qualiy of life is not going to change. Because of the media the whole process is blown out of proportion and is reduced to a slanging match. From what people who have not voted have said to me the overwhelming reason seems to be that it doesn't matter who you vote for, nothing changes- so why bother?
  16. JohnL you are thinking of the French students and the Sonnex person. The other incident earlier than that and involved an older man in Peckham Hill street if i recall correctly
  17. Someone please get him to go over the Goodrich Road 'artwork'
