John Prescott is obviously going to make this 'jobseekers sleeping under the bridges in the pouring rain and working for nothing' thing his pet project for the forseeable. I heard that the jobseekers were volunteers (probably the only way they could get there); the coach driver brought them to London too early and so they had to 'make-do' unfortunately. Hopefully they should get a CV entry from this, if not another offer- and if they are able bodied why not? There are plenty of unemployed collecting benefits AND doing cash-in-hand work. (For future reference and for the benefit of your English GCSE it's 'their' duty not 'there' duty, Junad1997). I complained to TFL when I noticed that, after the free Oyster card was given to them, school children were getting on buses for 2 or 3 stops instead of walking that short distance. My point to TFL was that it is doing nothing for the children's fitness and would probably increase the number of obese children.

Totally unnecessary. I thought that catering oil can be recycled and used to fuel vehicles? Businesses have to pay to get stuff taken away by the council. I remember some years ago seeing two cafe owners carrying a large frying unit and dumping it in Jennings Road. These people do not care about their environment- only about the money they can milk out of our pockets.
