  1. What a shame, the Pavillion cafe in Dulwich park are always targeted, they fought to get CCTV and the last I heard it was installed but not working. Parks need 24 hour security, what happened to the good old park keeper.
  2. Clearly everyone is more concerned about who will be eating snakes tonight. My oh my how TV really has literally gone to the snakes.
  3. Now now LM carry on and I will make you come along to sing a wee little ditty
  4. So we have come to that time of year, where we hear Christmas carols all round us, I know not everyone is a fan, however we cant resist having a sing along. So for the sake of conducting an EDF carol service, I would like to know what are your favourite carols. Then the top 5 carols will be sung in the parade on the 19th, even those who dont agree with the parade, take part. Thanks Mine are Once in Royal David City Oh come all year faithful Oh little town of Bethlehem Ave Maria Away in a manger
  5. Thank you Sue, I am actually doing a MSc as well, working and organising this with my fellow retailers. I am looking for a few more teachers to join the parade, we have organised carols for the parade and It would be lovely to have teachers who are use to singing carols. PM me if you would like to take part.

Oh dear Louisa I am sorry that you have been offended by the Santa's parade, it was organised for the residents of East Dulwich and Dulwich just to say Happy Christmas. If I thought for a moment that having a Santa's parade was going to upset the motorists, then it would never have been organised. Shame on us for wanting to do something for the community.
  7. I am still confused at, what point the filmakers were trying to make? I watched it and I felt confused, did they want to upset Paul Gadd? Or were they trying to make a point about Capital punishment?
  8. Lady Muck would you like some Organic incontinence pads, I can sort it ;-)
  9. I live just by Croydon arena and I can never park outside my house, because of the vast popularity of the arena with the local schools and sports Clubs, I get annoyed but I have learnt to live with it. My philosophy is that no matter what, when you travel into another area, you are going to park outside someones house and annoy them. Residents parking will ruin the USPs of East Dulwich.
  10. Hi some town centers organise it, however traditionally the council organise something, however in Dulwich we(the traders) and residents organise a lot of the events.
  11. Thank you Sophie obviously adults are also welcome in fancy dress or not and I do have a spare elve costume going spare.:)-D

  13. mm do you mind I live in South Norwood, its more cutting edge with a hint of quirkiness, rather then scary and Norwood Junction is a station to be proud of. ;-)
  14. lOL LM your tits must be rolling on the floor by now. I know quite a few hot men and if I were single, boy one in particular would be in trouble. What pubs do you go to in Dulwich? Most of the hotmen hang out in the Bishop(owned by a very hot man) and the East Dulwich Tavern. How would I know as a married woman? I pass in my car every so often after a night with my family I see all the hotties stumble and crawl out. OOH to be single again :)-D
  15. Hi me again, if parents with Children at the local schools would like a Santa's parade poster for your schools please let me know, we would love the local teachers to get involved in the parade. Thanks
  16. Re last post re lighted trees someone pointed out the lights might be taken/Stolen. May I ask East Dulwich to keep a look out and if you someone attempting to take the lights report it. Thanks
