Stella Yesterday I had to edit some posts because they were by a builder pretending to be someone else recommending his services and this was flagged up by a user. This is something that does happens every now and then and we do try and monitor it but it's part of the way the forum works, sometimes these are flagged up by the users of this forum which bring them to our attention and we act accordingly. That said people are free to express their experiences and share their views and I don't want you to think otherwise and hold back. You're exceptionally welcome to be a new joiner to the forum and find it useful and fun, please don't be put off and, as SeanMacGabhann said, please note the comments supporting you. Please let me know personally if you have any other issues. As for Chopsticks I've never been there but then I'm an omnipresent being and only eat air and Spicy Tomato Wheat Crunchies. Regards

Please note that threads are not Lounged simply because they relate to Camberwell. The Church Street Hotel thread was 3 months old and, after its resurrection was definitely, not East Dulwich specific. The William booth thread became "chatty", a discussion about someone's university campus I believe. I'm sorry it irritated you so I shall de-lounge the latter as it was actually quite interesting.

Hi giddygecko dam-sell, very good. I would suggest putting them all on one post to start with a title like: "surfboard, wetsuit, futon, electrical goods & other stuff for sale" this would get more people looking at the one posting than at individual postings. If after a while you still have things left you could then try selling them individually. good luck

This evening from about 6pm this website will be unavailable for about 2 - 6 hours for essential maintenance. We are changing servers (the computer this website lives on) and, as this is a big job, there may be a chance that the website will be unavailable for longer. Hopefully not. We will try our best to keep the disruption to a minimum but as it's a Saturday on a sunny Bank Holiday weekend we're hoping you will all be out having fun somewhere. Talking of fun, don't forget the Forum's 1st Birthday Party on Friday 21st September. Apologies for any inconvenience that may occur with the maintenance and enjoy the weekend.
