Sorry FJD, I did try asking Dermot, but he threw an ice bucket at the football table and stormed off muttering "Tay, holy mother of God , feckin' tay" I think you might have a long wait.
-
I did indeed BBW. A proper strength Stella and a large measure of whatever spirit he takes for BBW, please Dermot. Just a little apology for the 'big fat bastard' remark on the forum decorum thread.

Because we want to, because we want to. If in doubt fall back on Billie Piper. I do.

Whiskymac it is PGC, I'll join you in one. I think it might be wise to leave RonnieMama out of this one, let her finish the champagne. She's in a fighting mood at the moment and we don't want ASBOs, do we?

MM I cannot for the life of me see why a jumped-up 'knight' who maybe, possibly, thinking about putting himself forward for public office, shouldn't be a subject that one might gently or roughly ridicule. I reckon he'll never do it because it would involve actually not having complete control over his workforce and being unable to bully people on telly. Also he'd be revealed as a pug-ugly schmuck.

Well CitizenEd, Declan got back with the Chestnut Mild and Dermot has put four pints up on the bar. He reckons there's not a lot of call for it round here and doesn't think it'll be a 'seller'. He gave me a baleful look when I made a joke about 'seller' and 'cellar'. Won't be trying that again in a hurry. He's pursing his lips in a meaningful way and has just kicked the pool table. You'd be doing us all a favour if you ploughed away at the barrel CitizenEd. When Dermot's in a mood, well it's catastrophic round here is all I can say.

Giggi, Ronnie I insist on getting between the two of you and seperating you both in a firm but non gropey and intrusive sort of way. I will variously use the phrases 'leave it out', 'she ain't worth it' (seemingly directed at both of you, but Giggi I reckon you'll know where I'm coming from) and 'you can't do time it's not all like Bad Girls you know'. Dermot a bottle of your best champagne and two glasses for these feistiest of chicks. And a large fortified wine if you please.

What Brum said. And in addition BBW is a Big Fat Bastard. I know him to be big, though his corpulence and legitmacey are unknown as far as I'm concerned. So I'm just chucking epithets. Feel free to chuck some back my way. The same ones if you wish. At least two'll fit.

Then my largesse has had the desired effect PGC. Well done. Take the soundtrack to this thread as being 'Rainyday Women #12 and 35'. Only the 'stoned' in the song refers to drink and not reefer or anything else illegal.

citizenED Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Oh, Have I stumbled into the Quiet Room? I'll have > a pint of Chesnut Mild please, HonB. CitizedED, I've been informed by Dermot that they haven't Chestnut Mild on the premises. However he's sent Declan down the road to borrow a barrel. In the meantime will you take a pint of Directors with me?

You're welcome Brendan. And smoke away in here, Dermot has a liberal view on such matters. And thanks for the skinny on the Mott tickets, I'll be getting back to you nearer the time.

Jesus AFN, just because you own the Talking Heads LP 'Stop making Sense', it doesn't mean you have to live your life by it.

It's OK Mike when I seize power the tone deaf and musically enfeebled won't be allowed voting rights. It'll all be in the manifesto. Or personifesto as I call it on account of not wanting to alienate the chick vote.

I don't find Harman's mitherings to do with anything other than the usual kowtowing to the press. It's all blather and flummery and will possibly lead to an 'enquiry', maybe resulting in a lot of arsewind and a rich Fred. It wouldn't be this way if Tony Soprano was running the country. And I don't consider myself a cynic.
