  1. So that's a five dollar and shake and a snootfull of smack for Mrs W, then.
  2. Specifically Michelle Pfeiffer's Catwoman from Batman Returns. Although I wouldn't be upset if Lee Meredith from the TV series pitched up at my door either.

  5. If I might just drag the discussion back to The Frasier question. I think there's a strong and quite correct wave towards the estimable Ros, while Daphne quite properly stirs some interest. But from the same show, surely it can't just be me who's thinking... Lilith?

M&S don't have a daily gallery of cheapness to sell off the foodstuff they haven't shifted. The Brixton branch did it for a while and it was triff, but they stopped it, presumably to give the scran away to no doubt deserving dossers and misfits. But anyway go into Somerfield after seven in the evening and the stuff is approx 25% of the retail price. Other galleries should be so cheap.

  10. Sorry to drift here, but I was going to suggest Grace from W&G as a second place but got to thinking that Karen the old lush might prove to a more memorable and funpacked date. Or even unmemorable in the best possible way.
  11. Ros from Frasier all the way for me, the gal from the dairy state rings my bell. The voice, the figure the feistiness makes for a perfect package. And as for The Flintstones, it was always Betty Rubble.

  15. Liking the headline Snorky, that little used Daily Mail/George A Romero influence is a joy.
