Nunhead Gardener remain closed but are still doing deliveries, indoor and outdoor plants included!

Hi all, Wondering if anyone has any suggestions, we are wanting to rent a car for this Sunday just for the day, and it seems near enough impossible! We are working on Saturday, so can't pick it up then, and everywhere else appears shut on the Sunday?! Have tried the local Enterprise etc, and Zipcar seems like the only option, but will be roughly ?150! Any ideas welcome! Many thanks

So last night we visited Bar OM for the first time, having been contacted and invited back by the owner Hau to make up for the event back in January. The food was delicious, full of flavour and beautifully presented! We particularly enjoyed the shiitake and mooli salad, the avocado rolls with peanut sauce and the My's Passion cocktails. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and Bar Om is easily one of my new favourite places to eat in London. We were really impressed, and will definitely be visiting again soon! We wanted to give a shout out to Hau for acknowledging his mistake and doing his best to correct it, and we wish him all the best with Bar Om, as he really does deserve it!

Really disappointed with my first experience with Bar Om! I booked weeks ago for my birthday (yesterday) using their online system and received an email to confirm my email reservation. Their website/Instagram stated that while they were closed during some of the festive period, they would be back open again on the 7th. When I got to the restaurant, the shutters were down and it was closed. There was absolutely no activity behind the shutters and when I tried calling the two numbers provided, it either rang out or went straight to voicemail. Have yet to receive some sort of explanation or even apology. We went to Banh Banh around the corner who are always very accommodating and the food is always amazing! Would recommend the Banh Khot pancakes!

Not strictly East Dulwich, but Peckham Rye- from a distance just watched a chocolate lab do a poo in the middle of the fenced half of the rye, and the owner (a 50ish year old male with his daughter in school uniform) walk towards it very slowly and make a very half hearted and unsuccessful attempt to look for it and then walk off. I ran after him to let him know that his dog had done a poo and handed him a poo bag, telling him that he needed to be more of a responsible dog owner and he was giving the rest of us a bad name! I was greeted with ?I know but I couldn?t find it, show me where it is!?, when I told him that it was his responsibility to look for it himself he answered ?if you?re not going to show me that?s not very good then?... unbelievable. If you are this man and you are reading this, I have a picture of both you and your dog, the dogs poo that I found after looking for no longer than a couple of minutes and it bagged up before I popped it in the bin!

I believe that some Car Wash places clean rugs? The Car Wash on Evelina Road always has a different selection of rugs hung over the railings each day, so perhaps worth asking there!

Really glad you are managing it yourself and are getting on well with it all! We really struggled with agents, especially the additional agent fees, which most of the time made the rental property market unaffordable for young people (2 thousand pound deposit and fees before the move in!?). We really also struggled with the idea of why anyone would ever opt to use an agent to rent their property, and we wanted to urge landlords to rent their properties themselves. So glad that you decided to, and hope it continues going well!
