Back to Fridays again...

My proposal is: 7th August - The Plough 5th September - The Gowlett (we were going to do this in April but The Lodge invited us there instead)

Hold on a minute. I am happy to organise the Friday evening drinks but if people really want to go to a different venue on the Sunday I am going to have to leave it to someone else to arrange! Plus I think it will get a bit confusing having two events in different places in the same week. Mike P and I have a list of venues we planned to go to up until the end of this year, though we are of course flexible if new venues come up. But we are not going to go back to venues we have already done this year ie: The Lodge, The Herne. We are trying to go to different places each month.

At the same venue on both days??

I am not convinced that the Saturday drinks are working very well. So do we go back to Fridays for August or stick with Saturdays???

What time do we all want it to start? I would suggest starting a bit later than last time so we stay on into the evening.

24th June is fine for me

The afternoon session wasn't just parents and kids and that was never the intention. However it was great that some people who have kids could come along as they can't always come to evening drinks. It wasn't meant to be a split session but I personally couldn't make the evening due to other committments so it was nice to be able to go during the day and meet up with some people. Why don't we see how the July drinks go and then maybe go back to a Friday in August? I think summer drinks are often less-well attended as people are away more. But one thing I know is that we will never be able to please everyone...
