Had boy/girl twins first so could have stopped there with instant family! However, fancied seeing what it was like to have just one, so did so (girl). Was great having three but we were quite lucky, never had probs with them sleeping through night etc. They are now in their twenties.

Mick Mac, To be fair, no one could have predicted the massive rainfall we have had through April, most of May and pretty well all of June so far. Also, the temperatures have been lower than usual for most of this period (because it has been raining!) - meaning less evapo-transpiration, and so we have the very unusual situation of groundwater levels eventually beginning to rise in June. Pretty much unprecedented. Show nature can always kick accepted science in the teeth if she wishes!

The streets in west Beckenham have some lovely houses, most with big gardens, and they are a little cheaper than many nearer central Beckenham. Good roads are Reddons, Aldersmead, Barnmead, Kings Hall, Lennard, and Kent House.
