  1. I have done it myself, I have a 3yo and a 1yo that slept for 12 h with a dream feed since they were 3m and 12 h when they started solids, at about 7-8 months. And helped a couple of friends for free... dohhh.. I should have charged them, I didn't realize it was so expensive to get someone to help :) But as someone said earlier, if I couldn't have done it myself, I would have been prepared to go bankrupt in order to be able to sleep! :)
  2. Hello ladies Congratulations on the pregnancies! I had a spring baby in 2011 and one in 2013 and this forum is great! I am having a massive clear out and I have joined one of the NCT s nearly new sales (on 8th March from 11 at St Laurance Centre, SE6 2TS if anyone wants to go have a look) and I am only allowed to bring 100 items ... I realized I have over 300!!! So I am hoping to sell some here - clothes, toys, playmat, reusable nappies, double buggy, swing etc So if anyone needs anything for a newborn please PM and ask, I might have something I haven't mentioned. Everything I have is new or nearly new. Thanks for reading

  4. Hi I need a one off gardener to tidy up a small garden and I also need a handyman to put a lock on a wooden gate. I need a professional carpet cleaner, a company with a machine that does a proper cleaning ( not just a vacuum )for a room only. Also a regular cleaner, for about 3h every 2 weeks Thanks
  5. Same here, I went just for some items that this person was going to sell. Very very dissapointing and I will never go again.
  6. We are going to Peckham Plex tomorrow to see a movie, hopefully will see you all meet the babies next time, it's been ages!
  7. Hi Is anyone going to the cinema in Peckham this Thursday? I would like to see White House Down. x
  8. I contacted Little Fingerprints Nursery twice in the last 2 months and I haven't heard from them. The website is terrible as well and doesn't give any sort of information. A couple of friends that moved their kids to a different nursery told me they don't have an admin team and not very well organized. A friend's daughter goes to Oak Tree and she is very happy there. She's been going there for nearly 2 years, even after the family moved a bit further away.
  9. Hi I would have loved to meet on a week day morning but unfortunately I can't make this Monday :( I have a 2 yo as well and I am due beginning of June x
  10. I dream feed my little one since she was 6 months and started on solids. I did not wake her. So she had a feed at at 7.30pm, than I would dream feed her at 10.30 and she would sleep until 7.30 am BUT, and I think this is important, they will have to have all recommended amount of milk during the day which means more feeds during the day. At least that's what worked for us :)
  11. I can't make it either... I know it might sound a bit wimpy but the weather completely terrifies me! I have been so ill constantly in the last months and I am finally feeling better. Really sorry I was actually really looking forward to it.
  12. I could get there at 10 or a bit earlier if anyone else is coming for sure.
  13. My daughter went to My Fav Nursery, we only left because of personal circumstances. We gave 1 month notice but knowing it was a long waiting list we asked if we could leave right away and the admin lady said no. The key workers are amazing and my daughter loved every single one of them but the admin staff is terrible and their level of common sense is non existent!
  14. My nearly 2yo never gets bored. She goes in the trolley and is quite excited to see and touch things in the shop when we pass by. I usually plan it to get there at 10 and have lunch at 12, than she sleeps in the car on our way back. I went there last week and yes, no meatballs and no hotdogs...
  15. Hi I will have my second baby in the beginning of June. My daughter will be just over 2 when the baby will arrive so I they are similar age :)
  16. Wow... First baby in the club! Congratulation! I am actually around this Sunday as well and happy to meet :) x
  17. So, should we say Friday 8th Feb at Cheeky C's From 9.30-12.00 For 0-4 year olds Held at The Green Dale Centre, Green Dale Road, SE22 8TX (Next to JAGS) I have never been there so hopefully these are the details :) Would parking on the road be a problem ?
  18. On Fridays we normally go to Teddy Bear Toddlers HTC, SE26 4EA A weekly (During Term Time) parent and Toddler group for children aged 5 and under. The space is great so is the selection of toys and other activities. Tea and cake for adults and also fruit, cake and apple juice for little ones. There is also a singing session. There is a midwife from Lewisham Hospital that helps run it and she is there every Friday and she also runs a breastfeeding cafe locally. It is a short drive from Dulwich or a 176 bus ride But as I said, if location is not good we can meet somewhere else.
  19. Nice to meet some of you on Wednesday. All of a sudden it felt very real that I was going to have another baby! :) Etta166, MM22, Iddi1981 and Izzybob suggested a daytime meet up with the second time round mums. Of course first time mums that are around are welcome to join as well. I am going to suggest Thu 7th Fri 8th Mon 11th We'll choose the one that everybody can do We normally go to playgroups that are set up in spacious halls and kids can play and run around while mums have a coffee on the side but unfortunately all of them are around Forest Hill so I am not sure if it is convenient for most of you. So can anyone suggest a location around East Dulwich?
  20. I should have done a count we might not be as many as 8. I ve been there a few times for lunch in the week and it was busy so thought it was busy best to book.. See you tomorrow :)
